7/16/10 :: Bowling with the Stars...

Matt Leinart hosted his 4th Annual Celebrity Bowl with friends Kellan Lutz and Chris Bosh at Lucky Strikes in Hollywood. It's always nice to see people giving back. The event benefited the football star's self-titled foundation which aids underprivileged children in Southern California and Arizona by providing scholarships and grants to those in need. Click here to watch my video interviews with the group.

Bowling aside, ever wondered how celebs are in such great shape? Well keep guessing! But... I can share what songs they're working out to. Click here to learn what tunes keep Katy Perry, Kelly Rutherford, and Sophia Bush motiviated while exercising.

In other news--my piece from the Brian Atwood dinner is in InStyle's new August issue. I'll have it up and online shortly. Stay tuned...

7/8/10 :: Maui Film Festival, Eclipse, & Such...

ALOHA! According to Alec Baldwin on 30 Rock, it means "hello and goodbye." That said, "aloha" seems like an appropriate greeting since it's been a while since I've said whatup to all of you... and since I've been struggling to say goodbye to Maui, my favorite vacation spot on earth.

Of course, it wasn't all surfing and no work. I recently covered (what I like to call) "heaven on earth" for the Maui Film Festival. Malin Akerman, Josh Radnor, and Justin Chambers screened their latest passion projects while Zac Efron received the festival's "Shining Star Award." Click here to watch my video interviews from Maui.

Upon touching down in LA, I hit the LOFT Style Studio where Kristen Bell, Emmanuelle Chriqui, and other stylish starlets previewed LOFT's fall collection. (Their jewelry and accessories were my favorite of their new offerings.) Click here to watch those video interviews.

From there, it was off to the Eclipse premiere where I caught up with Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, and the whole gang, really. Per many fans' requests, I asked K-Stew about the mysterious necklace she's worn to each of the premieres. Where'd she find it? "Who knows?" she coyly said, before adding, "I just love it!" With that, she was on her way. More premiere coverage can be found on instyle.com. In the meantime, since people were kind enough to e-mail me personal snapshots from the afternoon, I've put together a little photo montage. Click here to check that out.

Most recently, I stopped by Enrique Iglesias' new album release party at MyHouse in Hollywood. There, I spoke with the singer who just released his first bilingual album. Click here to watch my video coverage from the night.

See? It hasn't been all play and no work! Then again, my late update has little to do with my recent workload. Truthfully, I'm between computers and in the midst of the great debate--to Dell or not to Dell? That is the question! (After 20+ years of loyalty, I'm leaning towards a MAC this time around!)

6/7/10 :: MTV Movie Awards...

Sandra Bullock, Scarlett Johansson, and Christina Aguilera hit the MTV Movie Awards yesterday. I went live from the red carpet... which consisted of a lot of quick Q&A's, Blackberry typing between said Q&A's, and a ton of shouting "Who are you wearing?" as the biggest celebs ran by. Lindsay Lohan worked a sparkly jumpsuit as she signed autographs for fans. "It's Pamella Roland," she said with a smile. Click here for more live coverage from the carpet.

I also caught up with Nikki Reed & Elizabeth Reaser who divulged details on what they're wearing to the upcoming Eclipse premiere. Click here to read more.

6/4/10 :: Brian Atwood Dinner...

Victoria Beckham, Eva Longoria Parker, Kristin Davis, and friends gathered at Soho House West Hollywood for an evening honoring shoe designer Brian Atwood. The party, thrown by InStyle & CFDA, featured well heeled attendees who, naturally, wore Atwood's signature Maniac pumps.

Here are some quick hits from the party:

*Victoria Beckham wore an ensemble of her own creation. Click here to take a look.

*Anna Kendrick dished on what she might wear the upcoming Eclipse premiere in Los Angeles. Click here to learn more.

*Stylist to the stars Rachel Zoe spoke of her love for Brian Atwood and their latest collaboration. Click here to read all about it.

Keep an eye out for my full coverage, which appears in an upcoming issue of InStyle.

5/20/10 :: InStyle's June Issue...

Yes, Salma Hayek is hot... but that's not the only reason you should pick up the latest issue of InStyle.

On newsstands now, the June 2010 issue features my piece from the Missoni Beverly Hills Boutique Opening. Eva Mendes, Joy Bryant, and Nicole Richie turned out for cocktail hour and a four-course dinner in celebration of the label's new store. At the evening's end, celebrity photographer Mario Testino encouraged all Missoni clad women to pose for a group shot, which he snapped with Rachel Zoe's personal point-and-shoot camera. Want to read more?

Click here to read my piece from the A-list fashion affair.

5/12/10 :: Giving Big...

Despite the current economic climate, Hollywood is still giving back... and big!

Last Monday, George Lopez held a Celebrity Golf Tournament to benefit his charitable efforts for underprivileged children and adults. His organization, The Ann & George Lopez Foundation, also hopes to raise awareness of kidney disease and organ donation, something the Lopez's dealt with firsthand. Actors like Samuel L. Jackson, Don Cheadle, and Hilary Duff participated in the event. Click here to learn more and watch my video interviews from the event.

On Friday, the 17th Annual Race to Erase MS drew some of it's loyalist supporters. Paris Hilton, Anne Heche, Avril Lavigne, and Tom Arnold were among the stars who helped raise $2 million for muscular sclerosis research. Ali Landry participated in the gala's traditional celebrity fashion show which featured Tommy Hilfiger's spring 2010 collection. Her two-year-old daughter enjoyed her runway debut in a color coordinated outfit. (So cute!) Meanwhile, the Hilton's made it a family affair, though they sat at different tables. During the live auction, Kathy waved to daughter Paris from across the room. Handlers mistakenly thought she was raising her hand to bid on a trip to Italy. (She wasn't. Oops.) She did, however, bid (and win!) a yacht trip to the US Virgin Islands for $46,000. Click here to watch my video coverage from the night.

I also wrote a piece on the Race to Erase MS for WWD. Click here to read my print coverage from the philanthropic affair. (The piece also appeared on their website. Click here to take a look.)

4/30/10 :: Iron Man, Dior, Chris Benz...

Not a bad week...

On Monday, I hit up the Iron Man 2 Premiere where Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, and Gwyneth Paltrow all stopped on the red carpet to talk shop. I'm not usually one for superhero films, but I adored the first film. Paltrow admitted she hadn't yet seen the sequel, so she wasn't sure how it turned out. Fingers crossed that it lives up to everyone's expectations. I can't wait to see it! In the meantime, click here to watch my video interviews from their world premiere.

The following night, Charlize Theron gathered a few famous (and fashionable!) friends for a dinner with Dior in honor of her Africa Outreach Project. "This year, coinciding with the World Cup, we’re focusing on bringing soccer and sports facilities to these rural communities," she said of her organization's philanthropic efforts. "Whether you’re going to be David Beckham or not, these are elements that you carry through life in anything that you do." Guests Jeremy Renner, Nicole Richie, and Marley Shelton all joined her for the highly private affair held at WeHo's Soho House.

Last night, I hit up Chris Benz's Springtime Cocktail Party at interior designer Nathan Turner's quaint West Hollywood boutique. Benz, a NYC based designer, used the evening as an opportunity to reveal his Fall 2010 collection to the west coast. Mannequins, dressed in the gorgeous attire, greeted guests immediately upon arrival. (Many of the pieces featured traditional Scottish tartans, colorful furs, and rhinestone embellishments. Click here to take a look at my personal favorite pieces from the collection.)

4/24/10 :: InStyle's May Issue...

As promised, I'm linking up my latest InStyle pieces. On newsstands now, the May 2010 issue features my coverage from the Elton John Oscar Party, where I caught up with the likes of Victoria Beckham, Salma Hayek, Chace Crawford, and Jennifer Hudson. Click here to take a look!

Also included in the issue? My piece on the Hollywood Dominoes Party, where Eva Longoria Parker, Aaron Eckhart, Camilla Belle, and James Marsden raised money for the children of Haiti. Click here to read up!

Pick up a copy today!

4/19/10 :: TV Guide at the GLAAD Awards...

Over the weekend, the gay and lesbian community rolled out the red carpet for their 21st Annual GLAAD Awards in Los Angeles. The cast of Glee, Drew Barrymore, and Wanda Sykes were among the honorees while Adam Lambert performed two songs off his album, For Your Entertainment. While there, I chatted with several folks including:

* Adam Lambert on Ryan Seacrest's odd on-camera behavior, what the GLAAD Awards represent for him, what television show he'd love to guest star on.

* Cat Cora on her cooking with Drew Barrymore and her upcoming television series.

* Jason Lewis on his upcoming How I Met Your Mother appearance.

* Wanda Sykes on the future of her reality show and what it means to her to be honored by the GLAAD Awards.

Click on the links above to read each of my articles. Then, on the video front...

Last week, I hit up the Children Mending Hearts Gala where Ben Affleck raised money for a cause close to his heart. Click here to learn more and watch my video interviews from the event.

I also stopped by the TOD'S Boutique's Re-Opening Cocktail Party where Halle Berry, Kate Bosworth, Kate Beckinsale, and Gwen Stefani stopped by to fete the brand's creative director Derek Lam. Click here to watch my video interviews.

4/12/10 :: MCM Dinner for WWD...

This weekend, the fashion set were in handbag heaven when Flaunt Magazine founder Luis Barajas' opened his eclectic Hollywood Hills home for a private dinner honoring luxe handbag label MCM. Eva Mendes helped host the affair. Her first order of business? To show off the goods! "Can I get some ooh's and aw's, please?" she joked, as she posed with a black leather clutch. During cocktail hour, guests like Dita von Teese and Olivia Wilde had a chance to choose their own favorites upstairs in the library where MCM's spring/summer 2010 collection was on display. The fashionistas also signed the brand's signature cognac viseto trunk, which will later be auctioned off for children's charity Art of Elysium. Click here for my full coverage of the evening--currently featured on wwd.com and in tomorrow's paper.

4/7/10 :: White Collar's Second Season...

White Collar fans are in luck! The cast may not start filming until next week, but I've already got season two scoop. Matthew Bomer, Tom DeKay, Tiffani Thiessen, and Willie Garson all joined creator Jeff Eastin at the Paley Center in Beverly Hills for a panel discussion with fans. Before the Q&A got underway, I chatted with the group about last season's cliff hanger, the mysterious music box, and how they plan to work around Thiessen's real-life pregnancy. Click here to read more from White Collar's cast and crew.

4/5/10 :: Kids Choice & Wedding Scoops...

Just because the site's remained silent for the last couple weeks doesn't mean my world's been quiet. Where to begin?

A few weeks back, I attended a dinner in honor of Shopbop.com, my favorite site for shopping. (I once developed a bad Zac Posen habit via their store. Not sure if I should thank them for that.) Kristen Belll and Lauren Conrad were among the guests who celebrated the site's new spring lookbook over a three course Chateau Marmont meal. After the group talked shop(bop), they left with complimentary Kate Somerville facials and glossy coffee table books that featured designers like Marc Jacobs, Balenciaga, and Chanel. So fun!

The next night, Missoni hosted a private party at their new Rodeo Drive boutique. Eva Mendes, Joy Bryant, and Nicole Richie enjoyed a girls night over cocktails and dinner. Most attendees were fitted in advance for the affair. However, Richie--the newly engaged, busy mother of two--pulled out a Missoni garb straight from her closet. The only outfit that wasn't on her mind? Her wedding gown! Click here to read more about that. And keep an eye out for my print coverage of the night, scheduled for the June issue of InStyle! I'll link it up once it comes out.

Soon after, the Kids Choice Awards rolled around. I couldn't believe it was my 6th year in attendance! (That's how I knew I was no longer a kid.) My how the pre-teens have grown! Selena Gomez, Miranda Cosgrove, Victoria Justice--they're practically women now! (Man, I sound like my grandmother. Speaking in old person tongue? Yep, no longer a kid!) Nickelodeon's orange carpet featured the usual suspects and a few new faces--Cory Monteith, Nikki Reed, and Katy Perry. I caught up with each before they went inside the auditorium. During arrivals, Perry looked perfectly put together in a dress by The Blonds, but that's not how she left. Click here to read more about the singer's on-stage sliming and the upcoming nuptial details she dished before the show.

Other recent outings? * A Ferrari auction where Patrick Dempsey, Jeremy Renner, and Malin Akerman enjoyed John Mayer's musical stylings at a private Beverly Hills mansion.* At an Adidas party for Snoop Dogg's new album, Ryan Phillipe & Lindsay Lohan hoped to catch a glimpse of the rapper in action--before the Hollywood fire marshall shut it down. * And a couple, top-secrets gigs of which I sadly can not speak.

3/15/10 :: TV Scoop & Stars...

Busy, busy...

Last week, I hit up FlashForward's PaleyFest panel in Beverly Hills where cast and crew discussed the show's future. John Cho, Joseph Fiennes, Gabrielle Union, and Dominic Monaghan dished on what we can expect for the remainder of the season. Click here to read more.

Over the weekend, Jenni "JWOWW" Farley hosted Muscle Milk's "Springbreakitdown.com" Launch Party. The Jersey Shore star admitted season two's rumored Miami destination hasn't been confirmed, but that she hopes it will be. Get it together MTV! You start shooting a month from now! Click here to watch my video interview with the reality starlet.

On Sunday, Kevin James teamed up with the Make A Wish Foundation to host a fun filled afternoon at the Santa Monica Pier. Adam Sandler, Anna Paquin, Mischa Barton, and Rosario Dawson were among the celebrities who treated a group of courageous children to an afternoon they'd never forget. Click here to watch my video coverage from the event.

3/9/10 :: Awards Season is Over...

The Oscars have come to an end and award season is officially passé. Check out my coverage from the last week:

On Wednesday, I hit up the Global Green USA Party where Leonardo DiCaprio brought along buddies Kevin Connolly and Lukas Haas for a guys night. The trio kept things low key--opting to hide out from atop the Avalon's balcony while performers Joel & Benji Madden hit the stage for an acoustic set. Click here to watch my video coverage.

"Hollywood Dominos" took over my Thursday evening at Beverly Hills' bar210. Demi Moore, Eva Longoria Parker, and Aaron Eckhart all provided moral support for competitors like Lydia Hearst and Brent Bolthouse. Rachel Zoe was also on hand and happily dished on Oscar dresses. (Click here to read more.) The evening benefited Artists for Peace & Justice's efforts in Haiti. My coverage of the night will be appear in an upcoming issue of InStyle Magazine.

From there, it was off to the Independent Spirit Awards in downtown Los Angeles. Jodie Foster, Maria Bello, Alice in Wonderland's Mia Wasikowska, and Maggie Gyllenhaal all celebrated the year's best in indie films. Between awards, guests relaxed in the Elle Green Room where White House/Black Market's "accessory bar" awaited them--cocktail rings, statement necklaces, clutches, and scarves from their spring collection were all up for grabs. Attendees also had the opportunity to pre-order KEDS' new collaboration with Alice & Olivia. The laceless, metallic sequined sneakers were popular among trendsetters like Twilight's Rachelle Lefevre. (The shoes will be available to the masses in May.) Click here for more coverage from backstage at the show.

On Saturday, Montblanc rolled out the red carpet for a pre-Oscar party with Kate Bosworth, Mira Sorvino, and Gwen Stefani. I was on hand doing video interviews. Click here to check them out.

Then... DRUM ROLL please... The Oscars arrived! At Elton John's annual AIDS Foundation Academy Awards viewing and after-party, I caught up with Victoria Beckham, Chace Crawford, Alan Cummings, and Jennifer Hudson for a piece that will appear in an upcoming issue of InStyle Magazine. I'll link that up once it goes to print. In the meantime, click here for online coverage from the big night.

2/19/10 :: New York Fashion Week...

While today may be my birthday, last week, I got the best gift when I traveled to my favorite city to cover my first New York Fashion Week. It was a lot of work, but I'm glad to have been a part of the final Bryant Park shows. (Next year, they're relocating to a new venue.)

Thursday kicked off the festivities with the BCBG Max Azria show where Michelle Williams (the singer, not the actress) admitted to being a "shoe whore." That night, I hit up The Heart Truth's Red Dress Fashion Show where Heidi Klum, Estelle, and Kristin Chenowith walked the runway to raise awareness for women's heart health. Click on the links to read more.

On Friday, I caught up with Malin Akerman, who arrived at Yigal Azrouel's show straight from a red eye flight. (She still managed to look stunning! And she did her own hair/make-up!) From there, it was off to the Nicole Miller show where Kelly Rutherford and Beth Ostrosky (Howard Stern's wife) discovered they wore the same white dress. "This is my Fashion Week moment," laughed Rutherford, who happily posed with her front row twinsy. Click here to read more about Day 2.

The Prabal Gurung show was an in demand ticket on Saturday, but, instead, I opted to check out Billy Elliot on Broadway. Thirteen-year-old Dayton Tavares is insanely talented. The show is a must-see. Great music, fantastic choreography. 'Nuff said.

Sunday, it was back to Bryant Park where I covered Rebecca Taylor, Herve Leger and Diane von Furnstenberg. Sophia Bush, Molly Sims, Shenae Grimes, Kristen Bell, and company were all on hand for the shows. Click here to read more.

Monday, I hit up my final three shows which included Donna Karan (with Demi Moore, Susan Sarandon, Brooke Shields), Tracy Resse (with Julia Stiles, Kristen Bell), and Carolina Herrera (who gushed about Rene Zellweger's style). Click here for full coverage.

I ended my trip with a quick stop at Armani's Fifth Avenue One Year Anniversary Party which also celebrated Martin Scorsese's new flick Shutter Island. The cast--including Leonardo DiCaprio, Sir Ben Kingsley, and Emily Mortimer--attended with special appearances by Bar Refaeli and Michelle Trachtenberg. Click on each link to read more!

Here are additional news pieces I gathered through out the week: Heidi Klum on her new maternity line and sense of style; Malin Akerman on participating in Naomi Campbell's Haiti benefit; Sophia Bush on her quick-changing Fashion Week tactics; and Rachel Zoe on her new QVC Collection.

For now, it's time to stop working and start celebrating. It is my birthday, after all. Don't worry. I'll be back soon with award season coverage.

2/10/10 :: Santa Barbara Film Festival...

Once the rain subsided, the sun (and stars!) came out to play at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. Emily Blunt, Michael Stuhlbarg, Saoirse Ronan, and Carey Mulligan stepped out to accept the festival's Virtuoso Award at the Lobero Theatre. "We drove up today. I sat on the beach earlier and soaked up the sun. I hadn't been on a beach for like seven years," laughed Mulligan. Click here for more of my coverage of the night.

Next I'm hitting up New York Fashion Week. Not sure if I'll have time to update the site live, but I'll try to do so in a timely fashion. Check back soon for updates...

2/1/10 :: Grammy Weekend...

I'm insane. 3 hours of sleep and yet I'm up. What can I say? I'm still reeling from the Grammy Awards. Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson--what a turn out! Click here to check out some of my after-party coverage online. (The rest will appear in an upcoming issue of InStyle.)

Over the weekend, I stopped by the Pre-Grammy Gala's Salute to Icons with Clive Davis. There, I caught up with Matchbox20's Rob Thomas, Ciara, and newcomer Ke$ha. The group teased which TV shows they'd love to guest star on. Their choices caught me by surprise. Click here to read more!

I also spoke with American Idol's Kris Allen & Randy Jackson about the recent feuding rumors. Click here to read more about that and Simon Cowell's departure.

1/28/10 :: Unforgettable, in Every Way...

Each year, I look forward to the Entertainment Industry Foundation's "Unforgettable Evening." The night raises big bucks for the Women's Cancer Research Fund and is always spectacular. Last night, was no different. Tom Hanks played host to a crowd that included honorees Christina Applegate, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, and performer Taylor Swift. Starpower aside, the highlight of the night was when Reese Witherspoon's daughters bid (and won!) a Smart Car during the live auction. (Her girls are far from the legal driving age, but it's good to be prepared in the name of a great cause.) Click here to watch my video interviews from last night.

1/26/10 :: SAG Awards & Haiti Relief...

The Grammy's are coming! The Grammy's are coming! But first...

On Saturday, I stopped by the SAG Awards for WWD. There, I spoke with Colin Firth, Christina Applegate, Mariska Hargitay (a first for me and a thrill since I'm an avid SVU fan!), Carey Mulligan, Edie Falco, and Jeremy Renner who admitted, "I'm here having a good time tonight. I have no idea what's going to happen tomorrow--let alone The Oscars. They seem so far away at this point." Glee's Dianna Agron also took in the moment. "I feel so glamorous--especially with the company that's around me. Kate Hudson and Sophia Loren just walked by. It's such a wide range of people that I admire." Check out all my coverage in today's WWD.

In the midst of award season, we can't forget what really counts. Everything else. Especially what's on the news these days. On Sunday, I covered a Haiti Relief Benefit at writer/director Paul Haggis' house. Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz, Charlize Theron, and Gerard Butler all turned out for the event which went on to raise 4.5 million dollars. My coverage is currently online and it will also appear in an upcoming issue of InStyle. Be sure to visit Artists for Peace & Justice's web site. They're doing great work on the ground level--providing emergency care and, eventually, rebuilding schools and hospitals. Give what you can. It all adds up.

Coming up soon? My coverage from The Grammy's. In the meantime, check out this item on Colbie Caillat's Badgley Mischka Grammy dress. She told me all about it, a couple weeks back, at The People's Choice Awards. Read up and stay tuned!

1/20/10 :: Award Shows & Such...

Friday night, I covered the Critic Choice Awards where Quentin Tarantino's Inglorious Basterds took home top honors for their work as an ensemble. Click here to watch my video coverage from the movie awards show.

Next it was off to BAFTA's Annual Awards Season Tea Party with Emily Blunt, Diane Kruger, and Maggie Gyllenhaal on Saturday. Click here to view my coverage for WWD.

That night, I covered the G'Day USA Black Tie Gala where Toni Collette and Simon Baker were honored for their contributions to television. There, I caught up with Robin Tunney--Baker's The Mentalist co-star--who gave me scoop on what fans can expect from upcoming episode. Click here to read up.

Finally, Sunday was--as most realize--The Golden Globes. Click here for my coverage of Fox's fantastic, yellow carpeted after-party with Colin Farrell, Zoe Saldana, and the cast of Glee.

1/15/10 :: TV News...

After a whirlwind week of TCA coverage, I hit The Diamond Information Center's Annual Awards Season Diamond Fashion Show Preview where I caught up with a number of television's leading ladies--including Natalie Zea. The Hung actress divulged she'll indeed be back next season for an episode or two. Click here to read more.

I also chatted with Olivia Wilde about Jennifer Morrison's rumored return to House. Click here to learn more.

1/7/10 :: A Brand New Day...

While January is always a year of new beginnings, my first few months seem to revolve around last year's movies, TV shows, and performers. Only a few days in and it's already shaping up to be a busy award season. (Thank goodness. Don't think the poor economy has escaped my industry. We're *all* feeling it! I'm just trying to keep moving, like everyone else.)

Also, I'll admit it. I've been holding out on you, but I didn't realize it. I just discovered a lost Vegas video from The Hangover DVD Party in December. Heather Graham, Justin Bartha, and director Todd Phillips were all on hand to type up the Golden Globe nominated comedy (and one of my favorite films!). Click here to watch my video coverage.

As for events this year, Tuesday kicked off award season with the 21st Annual Palm Springs Film Festival. Mariah Carey, Helen Mirren, and Quentin Tarantino were among the honorees singled out for their work. Click here to watch my video interviews.

Yesterday, I hit the NAACP Image Award Nominations before heading to the People's Choice Awards. (Yes, it was a hectic day--but completely worth it.) Click here to read all about the early morning Image Award action. (There, I also chatted with Michael Strahan on the future of his Fox TV show Brothers. Click here to read all about it.)

At the People's Choice Awards, Taylor Swift chatted with surprise guest Johnny Depp backstage while Sandra Bullock celebrated her success with George Lopez who joked, "We're off to the ESPN Zone!" Click here for the full coverage on InStyle.com.

In other news, People's Choice winner Carrie Underwood discussed wedding details and engagement bliss. Click here to read all about it!

There's more to soon come. In the meantime, Happy New Year!! xx

12/10/09 :: Prada, Gaga, & TV Guide...

Prada threw a swanky Beverly Hills soiree in honor of their new book. Christina Ricci, Emma Roberts, and Ginnifer Goodwin were among the trendsetters who stepped out to celebrate at the luxury label's Rodeo Drive boutique. Click here to watch my video interviews.

A night later, superstars like Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie took a trip to the Museum of Contemporary Art to celebrate the gallery's 30th anniversary. From there, I caught up with the likes of Mad Men's January Jones, Glee's Matthew Morrison, and Private Practice's Kadee Strickland at the Oceana Partners Award Gala in Los Angeles. (Click on each of the names to read my write-ups for TV Guide Magazine.)

11/10/09 :: Busy, busy...

Hollywood is keeping busy before the holidays. Here's a rundown of my schedule from last week:

Tuesday: At the Everybody's Fine premiere, Robert DeNiro, Drew Barrymore, and Kate Beckinsale walked the red carpet at the legendary Grauman Chinese Theater. (Click here to watch video coverage.)

Saturday: Hollywood hit Arcadia as Jerry O'Connell, Justin Chambers, and Dennis Hopper attended the Breeder's Cup World Championship at the Santa Anita Race Track. (Click here to watch my video interviews.)

Sunday: My day off. A girl needs her beauty sleep, right?

More soon. Stay tuned.

11/2/09 :: Parties for a Cause...

Two great parties, two good causes.

Last week, I joined Sheryl Crow, Jessica Capshaw, and Amy Smart at the Healthy Child, Healthy World Gala held at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills. The ladies traded eco-information on the terrace before heading inside for an informative sit down dinner. (Click here to watch my video interviews with the group.)

Earlier in the week, other actors and musicians joined Richard Branson for Virgin Unites' 3rd Annual "Rock the Kasbah" benefit. At the Vibiana in downtown Los Angeles, I interviewed the likes of Sharon Stone, Lindsay Lohan, and Lindsay Price before the trio took in performances by Estelle, Gavin Rossdale, and Natasha Bedingfield (who I also chatted up). Ever the host, Branson greeted each of his guests with a hug, despite arriving with his arm in a sling. I caught up with the entrepreneur, but figured it would be poor table manners to ask what happened to his arm. (Click here to watch my video interviews with everyone!)

10/26/09 :: Party Everyday...

One of the things that makes my job so much fun is that every day is different. By morning, I may hit the Maybach Golf Cup in polo gear--but, by night, I'm LBD-ing it up with Demi Moore for a book launch party at STK. That's how last week started.

From there, it was off to Lucky Magazine & Madewell's Bar Marmont bash with Mandy Moore, Rachel Bilson, and Anna Faris. (Click here to watch those interviews.) A few days later, Hello Kitty fanatics like Paris Hilton, Dave Navarro, and Pete Wentz celebrated the brand's 35th Anniversary at a pop-up shop swimming with pink hair, ripped tights, and tattoos. (Click here to watch my video interviews.)

Over the weekend, I joined TapouT's "Thrill the World" extravaganza where Michael Jackson fans attempted to break a world record. Indeed, there were zombies and MJ impersonators dancing in the streets. (Click here to watch video from the event.)

10/10/09 :: Nascar Does Hollywood...

Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr. aren't names normally discussed in Hollywood, but that doesn't mean they're not red carpet worthy. This weekend, the racers let loose at The Roosevelt Hotel's Tropicana Bar as the Auto Club Speedway hosted a Pepsi 500 Pre-Party. Who knew Audrina Patridge and Melissa Joan Hart were closet racing fans? Click here to check out my video interviews from the evening.

10/5/09 :: Octodad in LA...

From Octomom to Octodad... This weekend, Jon Gosselin made the West Coast 'rounds--which caused a paparazzi frenzy normally reserved for the likes of Britney Spears. After lunching at The Ivy, Octodad hit up the paparazzi owned franchise Millions of Milkshakes where he debuted a specialty ice cream concoction. (...in the midst of allegedly removing $200,000 from his joint bank account with Kate.) Click here to read my coverage for TV Guide Magazine.

10/1/09 :: This Rocks...

Courteney Cox Arquette, Christina Applegate, and Sheryl Crow were among the celebrities who presented and/or performed at the Rock a Little, Feed a Lot Concert which benefited Feeding America. Lisa Kudrow even performed fan favorite "Smelly Cat," an ode to her days on Friends. Click here to watch my video interviews and Kudrow's impromptu performance.

In other news, check out my TV Guide Magazine interviews with Kate Walsh, Tim Daly, and the rest of Private Practice's cast. Walsh admitted she'd love for her character Addison to take up tango while Daly said he'd be open to crossing over for a Grey's Anatomy episode or two. Click here to read more about the show's new season, which airs tonight on ABC.

9/29/09 :: Young Hollywood's Weekend...

Teen Vogue inducted a new group of starlets at their 7th Annual Young Hollywood Party. Selena Gomez, Ashley Tisdale, and Taylor Lautner were among the stars who enjoyed a D&G fashion show and Noisettes performance. Click here to check out my video interviews from the night.

An even younger group gathered at Disney's premiere of the Handy Manny Motorcycle Adventure where Wilmer Valderrama debuted the show's new special. Click here to watch video coverage of the afternoon affair.

9/22/09 :: The Primetime Emmys...

It was a hot day in Hollywood on Sunday and I'm not only referring to the weather. Stars turned out in the masses for the 61st Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. Despite the heat, I worked the red carpet in a gorgeous Ina Soltani dress (thanks Val!) where I spoke with the likes of Tina Fey, Jon Hamm, Christina Applegate, Michael J. Fox, Kristin Chenoweth, Leighton Meester, Sarah Silverman, Toni Collette, Charlie Sheen... and the list goes on. Click here to check out my video coverage from the big night.

9/21/09 :: Octomom's New Doc...

Over Emmy weekend, I caught up with Nadya Suleman (aka. Octomom) where she dished on her new documentary, what it's like raising fourteen children, and how she feels about her media coined name. Click here to read the TV Guide Magazine piece.

9/1/09 :: Kenneth Cole Celebrates...

Last week, guests like Ali Larter hit Kenneth Cole Awearness's FEED Health Backpack Launch. Attendees sipped VeeV cocktails while previewing the environmentally friendly bag whose proceeds provide medical supplies for poverty-stricken residents in Sub-Saharan Africa. Designer Lauren Bush attended alongside 90210's Shenae Grimes, Alexa Vega, and Melissa Rycroft. Click here to watch video coverage from the night.

8/17/09 :: HFPA Luncheon...

When the Hollywood Foreign Press Association comes calling, you answer. (If you ever want to be nominated for a Golden Globe, that is.) Luckily it wasn't a tough sell since the group were summoned for a good cause. Emmy Rossum, Hugh Dancy, Chris Pine, Jordana Brewster, and Rose McGowan were on hand at the HFPA's Annual Installation Luncheon to give away grants to non-profits organizations. Click here to watch my video interviews with the celebrity do-gooders.

8/13/09 :: Inglorious Basterds Premiere...

If you've ever doubted Brad Pitt's appeal, I assure you--he is as hot in person as he is on screen. And Angelina Jolie is no exception. On Monday, the duo stepped out at Quentin Tarantino's Inglorious Basterds premiere in Los Angeles. Co-stars Eli Roth & B.J. Novak were also on hand to hype up the WWII flick. Click here to check out my video coverage from the big night.

8/6/09 :: Spreading the News...

The King of Twitter, Mr. Ashton Kutcher, conquers new (indie) turf in his latest flick Spread. Sure, he plays a pretty boy--hardly a stretch from his personal life--but even so he successfully loses himself in the character.

Ashton plays Nikki, a guy who earns his keep by sleeping with older women. The role is a departure from the goofy characters that previously put him on the map. I recommend it--just be ready for more than a couple risqué scenes.

I covered the film's Los Angeles premiere where Ashton was on hand with co-stars Anne Heche & Margarita Levieva. Click here to watch my video interviews with the cast.

8/3/09 :: More Movie Premieres...

Last Tuesday, I covered the Paper Heart red carpet screening where lead actress Charlyne Yi was joined by industry insiders like Catherine Hardwicke, Christian Serratos, and Jason Reitman. Hardwicke divulged she was considering Yi for her first post-Twilight film. Click here to watch all the action.

On Thursday, X-Games insanity unfolded in downtown Los Angeles when Pamela Anderson joined extreme athletes like Shaun White at the X-Games 3D: The Movie Premiere. Click here to watch my video coverage from the event.

7/28/09 :: A Week in Film...

It was a week of spooky films, short films, and--for those at San Diego's Comic Con--films of grand proportions.

Last week, I hit up The Orphan premiere where Peter Sarsgaard hyped up the new horror flick. Robert Downey Jr. was also on hand to support his wife Susan who produced the film with Joel Silver & Leonardo DiCaprio. Click here to watch my coverage from the event.

From there, it was onto Opening Night of The LA Shorts Festival which featured Scarlett Johansson and Courteney Cox-Arquette's directorial debuts. I caught up with both leading ladies before the screenings. Click to here to watch my video interviews from the night.

7/14/09 :: BBQs & Clam Bakes...

"Summertime and the living is easy." Ain't it the truth. Last week I spent the 4th of July at P. Diddy's infamous "White Party" which relocated from the Hamptons to Los Angeles this year. Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Cassie and friends all came out for some BBQ action and to support Malaria No More. Check here to check out video interviews from the event.

This past weekend I covered the Lia Sophia Clam Bake where Lindsay Lohan, Mena Suvari, Lisa Rinna, and Stephanie Pratt previewed the jewelry company's new Cape Town III collection. The line features gorgeous art deco and geometric designs. Click here for video coverage from the afternoon.

6/25/09 :: Women in Film (& Maui)...

Aloha! I just returned from the Maui Film Festival where I spent the last week watching films under the stars, hanging by the Grand Wailea's pool--oh and doing a bit of work in between, if you call it work. I caught up with Zooey Deschanel who was being honored with the Nova Award. My Q & A with the quirky actress is online at Hollywood.com. Take a look!

Before Maui, I stopped by Women in Film's annual Crystal + Lucy Awards where I interviewed Jennifer Aniston, Jodie Foster, Holly Hunter, Jenny McCarthy, and Elizabeth Banks. Oh what a night! Click here to watch those video interviews.

Last night, it was onto the 500 Days of Summer premiere where I caught up with Mad Men's Christina Hendricks who was on hand to support fiancé Geoffrey Arend, who appears in the film. The adorable duo dished on their upcoming nuptials and wedding preparations. Click here to read more!

6/9/09 :: A Feel Good Week...

Even during tough economic times, Hollywood is giving big. Cartier celebrated their 100th Anniversary in America with an event that benefited ServiceNation. Check out my video interviews with Usher and other cocktail party attendees.

Next it was onto the Chrysalis Butterfly Ball where celebs like Mark Wahlberg, Chase Crawford, and Eve helped the organization aid homelessness. Click here to watch video coverage from the event.

Last night, I hit up Oceana & La Mer's World Oceans Day Gala where Anne Heche, Nicollette Sheridan, and January Jones helped celebrate keeping our oceans clean. Click here to view video interviews from the evening.

5/15/09 :: May Update...

While much of Hollywood is living it up in Cannes, many of us are still holding down the fort here in LaLa land. Last night, Ashlee Simpson made it at a date night with hubby Pete Wentz at the T-Mobile Sidekick LX Launch Party. It was a love fest all around. Amanda Bynes & Emmy Rossum traded compliments while Pink & Carey Hart made their first public appearance since reuniting.

Earlier in the month, I caught up with Common at the Diesel Launch Party for their Only the Brave Fragrance. Click here to check out video coverage from the night. He gave a great live performance mixing old and new material. What a performer!

On a philanthropic note, Dustin Hoffman, Jewel, and Anne Heche gathered for the Race to Erase MS Gala. The group raised awareness while enjoying performances by Michelle Branch and The Eagles. Click here to check out my video interviews and to learn more.

4/27/09 :: April Videos...

A month has passed since I've said hello. Forgive me? Here's a rundown of what I've been up to:

At the First Ladies of Africa Health Summit Gala, I caught up with Naomi Campbell, Chris Tucker, and Kristin Davis. Click here to check out those video interviews.

Disneynature debuted their new film Earth at its Hollywood premiere. Eco-friendly stars like Wendie Malick, One Republic's Tim Myers, and artist Wyland stopped by the afternoon affair. Click here to watch my video interviews with the group.

Also in the eco-scene, Target threw a party to celebrate their collaboration with Loomstate, an organic cotton clothing company. Elizabeth Banks, Jaime Pressly, and Adrian Grenier previewed the collection before it hit stores. I was on hand capturing their shopping sprees and conducting interviews. Click here to take a look.

Before that, it was off to the Parks & Recreation Premiere Party at new Hollywood hot spot MyHouse. Amy Poehler joined cast mates Rashida Jones & Chris Pratt as they took a night off from shooting. We all enjoyed a nice chat before the party got underway. Click here to check my video interviews with the cast.

3/30/09 :: Kids Choice Awards...

The critics always speak their minds. Why shouldn't the under thirteen set have a say? This weekend, their voices were heard at the 2009 Kids Choice Awards. I hit up the live event's orange carpet where I chatted with Emma Roberts, Pete Wentz, and Tony Hawk. I left the show slime-free, but The Jonas Brothers weren't quite as lucky. Click here to check out my online coverage from the big night

3/26/09 :: Shopping with Miranda Cosgrove...

In preparation for this weekend's Kids Choice Awards, I went shopping with Nickelodeon star Miranda Cosgrove. We browsed the racks at Milk, Satine, and Tarina Tarantino in search of the perfect red carpet ensemble. I'm still figuring mine out, but Miranda should be all set. Tune into the show on Saturday to find out what she wound up wearing. In the meantime, click here to check out pictures and anecdotes from our shopping spree!

Also, on last week's agenda? The I Love You, Man premiere in Hollywood. Click here to check out my video interviews with the film's cast.

3/16/09 :: April Issue of InStyle Magazine...

Award season may be over, but this month it lives on in the April issue of InStyle Magazine. I had the pleasure of covering two of the season's hottest tickets. At the Screen Actors Guild after-party, Tina Fey, Freida Pinto, and Claire Danes enjoyed the musical stylings of the Rock n Roll Fantasy Camp all-stars. Click here to view the SAG After-Party piece.

Naturally, Sir Elton John's Oscar Party had it's fair share of musical royalty and some. Eva Longoria Parker, Carrie Underwood, and Rashida Jones joined the piano man for a sit down dinner and auction benefiting his AIDS Foundation. Click here to view the Elton John Oscar Party piece.

There's one last award show this month. Up next? Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards. Stay tuned.

3/13/09 :: Listen for Eric Hutchinson...

Singer/songwriter fans need to listen up! If you like Jason Mraz or John Mayer, you'll LOVE Eric Hutchinson. The "Rock & Roll" star has been on my radar long before his breakout single hit VH1 and iTune's Top Ten lists. Back in 2002, I played his track Subtitles on WERS 88.9 FM when I hosted the radio station's morning show. As a freshman at Emerson College (where we were both students), I auditioned for the song's music video. I didn't make the cut--but he has certainly made mine. I recently caught up with the singer when he was on the road. We skipped revisiting the past, but talked about his present success and future aspirations. Click here to read my Q&A with Eric Hutchinson.

3/10/09 :: Shopping with a Twilight Star...

I'll admit it--I'm Twilight obsessed! These days, you'd be hard pressed to find someone who's not. As a fan of the phenomenon, I felt especially lucky scoring a shopping session with one of film's gorgeous females--Ashley Greene--just days before she went to Italy for New Moon fittings and rehearsals. Click here to check out the highlights (and Twilight dish!) from our shopping session where she previewed the spring trends for Miss Me, Bordeaux, and Paul & Joe Sister.

After one retail therapy session, it was onto another--and this one benefited a good cause. Over the weekend, I hit up John Varvatos' 7th Annual Stuart House Event. The clothing designer hosted a street fair that shut down the corner of Melrose Avenue & Robertson Boulevard in order to raise money for the Stuart House, a facility that treats young sexual abuse victims. Kyra Sedgwick & Kevin Bacon hosted the afternoon affair where kids had the opportunity to create their own Converse and decorate Crumbs cupcakes. (Mmmm, my favorite!) Check out my video interviews with Kyra, Kevin, and the rest of the crew!

2/23/09 :: Oscar Insanity and some...

Too tired to explain the week in detail... that's what my coverage is for. Here's a recap of this passed week:

--Check out my video coverage from the Children's Mending Hearts Benefit with Ben Affleck. Click here to take a look!

--The Independent Spirit Awards which is a day before the Academy Awards and is, as Michelle Monaghan described, "the anti-Oscars." Click here to check out my online InStyle piece featuring Cameron Diaz, Zooey Dechanel, and Kerry Washington.

--The 17th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Viewing Party, which took place during the Oscars. Victoria Beckham, Eva Longoria, and Kate Beckinsale supported the piano man and his organization. Coverage from the evening will appear in an upcoming issue of InStyle. In the meantime, check out my online coverage from the night.

More to soon come. For now, I'm off to sleep!

2/16/09 :: The Unforgettable Evening...

Courteney Cox-Arquette & Gwyneth Paltrow enjoyed "An Unforgettable Evening" when they were honored by EIF's WCRF and Saks Fifth Avenue for their dedication to cancer awareness. A crowd--which included Tom Hanks & Rita Wilson, Lisa Kudrow, & Jay-Z--watched on as the leading ladies accepted their awards. Beyonce later took to the stage to perform At Last, Crazy in Love, and Single Ladies. I was on hand doing video interviews for the elegant affair held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. Click here to view my video coverage!

While we're on the topic of philanthropy, I'd like to give a personal shout out to NY Yankees' pitcher A.J. Burnett and his wife Karen, who were kind enough to sponsor my little cousin's travel team for a tournament in Cooperstown this summer. A.J. and his family were my cousins' neighbors and fishing pals when he played with the Marlins. Thanks to the baseball star and his family for coming to the rescue!

Also to be noted--this week, I'm headed to the Children Mending Hearts Benefit where Ben Affleck and pals will be on hand raising funds for the International Medical Corps' relief efforts in the Congo. Video interviews to soon come.

It's nice to know that, even in these trying economic times, philanthropy isn't forgotten.

2/13/09 :: Vintage Videos...

I recently came across old video interviews I'd conducted and wanted to share. Just click the event name you're interested in viewing: Los Angeles Premiere of Valkyrie, Grand Opening of The Conga Room, CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute Red Carpet, The Jordan Melo M5 Launch Party, Los Angeles Premiere of Milk, A Fine Romance Benefit, The Thelonius Monk Institute's Concert Gala, San Francicsco Premiere of Milk, Peter Alexander's Flagship Boutique Opening, High School Musical 3 Premiere, and the Rodeo Drive Walk of Style Awards.

1/28/09 :: The 15th Annual SAG Awards...

As actors celebrated one another at The 15th Annual SAG Awards, the show was--naturally--filled with major star power. I was fortunate to chat one-on-one with a number of the award winners (Tina Fey, Laura Linney) and gorgeous presenters (Claire Danes, Diane Lane). At the People/EIF After-party, Meryl Streep mingled with co-star Amy Adams while Penelope Cruz kept Laura Dern & Ben Harper company in a private booth. For all the details, check out my SAG piece in an upcoming issue of InStyle.

In the meantime, my online coverage from the SAG Awards red carpet  is online now. Click here to take a look.

I'm also super psyched to share my latest piece--from the Neil Lane Store Opening--featured in InStyle's February issue with Kate Winslet on the cover. Click here to view the piece online.

And I'm equally thrilled to announce I was made a Contributing Editor with the mag. Super exciting! Here's to an ongoing equally great '09. More to soon come, friends. Stay tuned!

1/12/09 :: A Weekend in Review...

Believe it or not the following occurred over the course of two days:

1) At the BAFTA/LA's Award Season Tea Party, Leonardo DiCaprio, Freida Pinto, and Marisa Tomei celebrated their nominee status a day before the Golden Globes awards ceremony. Click here to see my online coverage!

2) While the Golden Globes unfolded on camera, it was the untelevised action from InStyle Viewing's Party that really heated up! Early arrivals Joy Bryant, James Marsden, and Heidi Klum led the pack of notables who joined in on the table-hopping fun. Click here to check out my online print coverage!

3) A picture tells a thousand tales, but so do video soundbytes... Click here to view my video coverage from the InStyle Viewing Party!

4) From there, it was onto InStyle's legendary Golden Globes After-Party--where the room was transformed into a French-inspired affair complete with a Godiva Gold Lounge and on sight
L'Oreal make-up artists available for touch ups. Click here for more details on the big night!

5) Seeing is believing... Click here for video coverage from InStyle's after-party where guests like Eva Longoria, Kate Beckinsale, and Megan Fox were greeted by a crystal embellished peacock and ten piece cover band that got everyone on the dance floor.

That's all (for now) folks! After interviewing Blake Lively, all I really want to do is veg out and watch Gossip Girl on the small screen. Awards season has only just begun...

1/11/09 :: From Critics Choice, Onto the Globes...

After a week of insanity, tonight it comes to it's climax with the Golden Globes. I'll be at the InStyle Viewing Dinner & After-Party... THE place to be! I'm filing live on instyle.com -- so be sure to check there for the coverage. Based on the guest list, the event is sure to be legendary.

The other night, I hit the Critics Choice Awards where Anne Hathaway walked away with Best Actress and Sean Penn took home Best Actor. Nominees Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie were also on hand. Click here for my complete coverage from the night.

1/8/09 :: 35th Annual People's Choice Awards...

Everyone in Hollywood has "people," but the only ones who mattered spoke loud and clear last night as fans chose their favorites at the 35th Annual People's Choice Awards. Kate Hudson, Reese Witherspoon, and Katherine Heigl were all there. Click here to check out my coverage from the evening. Next up? The Critics Choice Awards!

1/6/09 :: Happy New Year (of Hollywood)...

A happy and healthy new year, friends! This first week is already shaping up to be pure insanity, but before the chaos begins -- I wanted to pause for a moment of reflection. I'm so thrilled to share what I do for a living with you. Truly. I don't take it for granted. Not. One. Bit. Sure, I've been stressing about what to wear all week, but that never clouds my appreciation for this job. That said...

Who knew so many award shows could be packed into one week! Without a stylist or unlimited funds, you find ways to make do. How exactly? When the dust settles, I'll share my style diary from this week with you. In the meantime, I must focus on the tasks at hand. (That's right, I do actually work at these glam events.)

Tomorrow morning, I'm headed to the Palm Springs Film Festival Gala (where Anne Hathaway & Amy Adams will walk away with top honors). From there, I'm covering the People's Choice Awards, Critics Choice Awards, a BAFTA Luncheon, and Golden Globe festivities. Check in soon for updates featuring all the action!
