5/4/08 :: Speed Racer & Silver Rose...

Last month was a busy month, but you'd never know it from visiting this site. Sorry for my lack of entries, but it's time to play catch up.

The Speed Racer premiere brought out Christina Ricci, Emile Hirsch, and Susan Sarandon. Click here to check out my video interviews from the film's LA debut. From there...

Halle Berry made her first post-pregnancy appearance at The Silver Rose Gala, which benefited the Jenesse Center and took place at the legendary Beverly Hills Hotel. I had the honor of catching up with Ms. Berry before the luncheon got underway. Click here to check out my online coverage from the big day. (There's more to come in the July issue of InStyle.)

Some highlights from earlier in the month: I had the privilege of meeting Dustin Hoffman at a Bottega Veneta event held at Barney's Greengrass. (Diane Keaton was also in attendance... wow!) I also chatted with Maria Shriver at Cathy Waterman's "Muse" Garden Party held at Jamie Lee Curtis' house. I still can't get over how down to earth Ms. Curtis is. To get a taste of her hospitality, check out an upcoming issue of InStyle for coverage from the event.

I'll admit it. Sometimes I have to pinch myself... More soon.

4/9/08 :: Idol Gives Back & Some...

An inspiring spirit filled the air at the Kodak Theatre when Idol Gives Back filmed their charity special, which airs tonight. I was on hand doing coverage for InStyle.com. Click here to check out the star studded involvement! (Even Brad Pitt & Reese Witherspoon got in on the charitable action.) Tune in tonight and give big in the name of worthy causes.

Earlier in the week, I caught up one-on-one with Taryn Manning to discuss her role in the indie pic Jack & Jill vs the World. The next night, I hit up the film's premiere. Check out my video interviews from the evening, which raised awareness and funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

4/1/08 :: Kids Choice Awards...

Over the weekend the tween scene brought out major star wattage as the Kids Choice Awards went live! What also went live? My red carpet coverage for InStyle.com. Be sure to check it out for snippets from my interviews with performer Miley Cyrus, presenter Hayden Panettiere, attendee Jordin Sparks, and Project Runway winner turned Access Hollywood correspondent Christian Siriano. (Oh and there's more. Click here to check it all out!)

A night earlier, I attended the Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation's annual "A Stellar Night" Gala where Corbin Bleu hosted the kid focused evening and honored William Shatner. Click here for video interviews from the eve!

3/26/08 :: The EB Benefit & Such...

Last night, Hollywood put themselves aside to focus on something more important: others. Courtney Cox Arquette, Jennifer Aniston, and Orlando Bloom (to name a few) gathered at Eva Longoria Parker's new eatery Beso in Hollywood. The A listers joined forces to raise awareness (and money!) for Epidermolysis Bullosa, a rare (and heartbreaking) disease that impacts children. For further information on the organization and details on the evening, check out my InStyle.com online feature.

A few nights earlier, Details Magazine celebrated their annual Mavericks issue with a party held at a private Beverly Hills Home. (You should've seen this place!) Oh, wait... you can. Check out my video interviews from the evening, which honored cover boy Ryan Seacrest and brought out everyone from Don Cheadle to Kim Kardashian.

3/21/08 :: A Month Gone By...

Nobody throws a party like Prada! On Wednesday, the company opened their Rodeo Drive epicenter to host a private screening of "Trembled Blossoms," a short animated film based on the brand's wallpaper. For a private screening, boy did it draw a crowd! Everyone from  Brooke Shields & Minnie Driver to Nicole Richie & Nicky Hilton were in attendance. (In fact, the list is too long to name the bevy of beauties who came out to kick up their heels.) Instead: check out my InStyle.com coverage from the big night!

Over the weekend, I hit up the DCMA Collective opening where Paris Hilton supported her man Benji Madden. Check out my video interviews with the heiress and her friends.

A evening later, I found myself at Vanessa & Angela Simmon's One Year Anniversary Party for Pastry, their shoe brand that recently expanded into apparel and handbags. These girls are already on a first name basis with major names: Run DMC (who they call "Dad"), Russell Simmons (also known as "Uncle"), and Kimora Lee Simmons (typically called "Aunt"). They admitted to getting some friendly advice from their seasoned family. Click here to check out my video interviews from the event. Nelly & P. Diddy also made appearances.

3/9/08 :: March (Without) Madness...

After Oscar insanity, I took a small break. There was Katsuya. Then Disney, more Katsuya... and, oh yes, Poker...

The World Poker Tour's Invitational to be more specific. And I didn't play. I chit chatted with the players who included James Woods, Michael Vartan, and Mekhi Phifer. Check out my video interviews from the night!

One Bebe event honoring Rebecca Romijm and the Horton Hears A Who premiere (with Jim Carey, Steve Carell, & Jaime Pressley) later and we're back to business. Around the corner? The Kids Choice Awards. In the meantime, the Oscars are still lingering. Here's a photo from working the Sir Elton John Viewing Party. Shout out to Charles, who was my camera man for the evening:

2/25/08 :: Oscar Week Festivities...

I just came up for air... After a week of premieres, pre-Oscar bashes, the Independent Spirit Awards, and Academy Awards, what's a girl to do? I'm going to Disneyland! But, let's back track for just a minute.

To kick things off, I hit up Will Ferrell's Semi-Pro premiere for video interviews with the cast and friends. That morning, I'd attended the Diamond Information Center's media breakfast. (I proceeded to check out their ongoing events honoring designers Alabama Chanin, Rodarte, & Phillip Lim.)

A few nights before the Academy Awards, Art of Elysium threw an event that rivaled the Oscars! In attendance? Demi Moore, Salma Hayek, Penelope Cruz, Kate Hudson, Charlize Theron, and the list goes on... Check out my online coverage from Art of Elysium's Hollywood Domino evening! The piece will also be appearing in an upcoming issue of InStyle.

Next, I attended the Independent Spirit Awards where Mario Bello, Kerry Washington, and Felicity Huffman joined the officially expectant mother Angelina Jolie, who clearly revealed her baby bump in a form fitting black dress. Click here for online coverage from the Indie Spirits!

The climax occurred just last night at Sir Elton John's 16th Annual AIDS Foundation Oscar Viewing Party, where I caught up with everyone from the host to Minnie Driver, Sharon Stone, Mary J. Blige, and Billy Joel. (Oscar winner Marion Cotillard even made an appearance!) Check out the video!

Where next? Katsuya, Disneyland, and to sleep...

2/11/08 :: The Grammy Grind...

What an insane weekend. The insanity kicked off with InStyle's Grammy Salute to Fashion where Adam Levine, Prince, and Miley Cyrus mingled over a fashion show and Rihanna performance. Click here for my full coverage and keep an eye out for more in an upcoming issue!

The next night, it was off to the People/Verizon Pre-Grammy Party where Timbaland brought out celeb friends for a crazy concert. Rumors swirled that Justin Timberlake would make a surprise on-stage appearance, but--alas--they were simply rumors. Settling for Chris Cornell, Missy Elliot, and One Republic wasn't half bad... neither was the crowd, which included Natasha Bedingfield, Fergie, and will.i.am. Be sure to check out my video interviews from the big night!

Two pre-parties down, one more to go! The night before the Grammy's, I hit up Ne-Yo's Midnight Brunch. The title says it all! It started at midnight and lasted until the wee hours of the evening. Stevie Wonder, Rihanna, and Nick Cannon made appearances -- despite the fire marshall's attempt to shut down the packed party. Check out my video coverage from the eve!

2/3/08 :: Kate Hudson (& The Superbowl)...

While most are watching the Super Bowl, I'm blogging... why? Why not! After all, the highly anticipated commercials are available on You Tube, the half time show is already over, and--truth be told--I'm not much of a football fan. I'm more interested in the celeb sightings at the game. Kate Hudson didn't disappoint on that one! She attended with step dad Kurt Russell... just a day after hosting a Fool's Gold cocktail reception in Arizona.

Doesn't she seem to be everywhere right now? I chatted with her a week ago at the SAG Awards after-party. Then, reunited with the ever-so-busy actress at her Fool's Gold premiere -- held a few days before the big bowl. It was a chilly night, but the film's cast came out full force... even if they were an hour late to their own premiere. Be sure to check out my video interviews Kate and her co-stars including Matthew McConaughey.

The Super Bowl & NY Fashion Week may have cities (other than LA) abound with excitement, but the Grammy's are based in LA and just around the corner... Stay tuned for more soon!

1/28/08 :: The (Not So) Little Award Show That Could...

Stars weathered the rain, but didn't let the rain weather them before walking the red carpet at the 14th Annual SAG Awards. As one of the few award shows of the season, Ricky Gervais couldn't contain his excitement. "It’s happening! It’s actually happening," he pointed out before the show got underway. Click here to check out all my coverage from the red carpet.

The night didn't end there. Stars continued celebrating at the People Magazine/Entertainment Industry Foundation bash where I caught up with Kate Hudson, Ellen Pompeo, and Jane Krawkowski. Click here to take a look at part two of my evening. Fear not, even more action will unfold in an upcoming issue of InStyle Magazine. I'll be sure to scan a copy of my feature.

1/24/08 :: Two Worlds, One Woman...

The writer's strike won't get me down. I'm writing... like it or not! (Granted I'm not a member of WGA -- they won't care anyway.)

This week I found myself in two very different worlds -- joined by actress Vanessa Williams at each.

Wednesday, I hit up a private Sergio Rossi dinner hosted by Salma Hayek and the company's creative director Edmundo Castillo. After a brilliant five-course dinner at Bastide (and as midnight neared!), the company's CEO Didier Bonnin opened the co's new Melrose Place boutique for VIP's in need of a late night retail fix. Details from the dinner could wind up in an upcoming issue of the magazine (fingers crossed--will keep you updated), but in the meantime here's a link to my online write-up.

The following night, I bumped into my fellow diner Ms. Williams at the Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds premiere... Sure enough, she was rocking a pair of metallic brown ankle boots that she'd picked up the night before. She couldn't wait to show them off, but admitted she had a different motive for attending Miley's big night: "My seven-year-old is a huge fan!" Click here to check out my video interviews from the event.

This weekend, I'll likely bump into the Ugly Betty star again as she's nominated for a SAG Award. (I wonder if she'll be sporting Sergio Rossi's that night too. Hmmm...)

1/17/08 :: Pure Decadence...

InStyle sure knows how to throw a luncheon! Complete with couture, celebs, and diamonds, the magazine joined forces with the Diamond Information Center to throw a pre-awards season party. I was on hand writing and reporting on all the action. Take a look at my online piece. It'll also appear within the March issue. Keep an eye out!

The next day, I ditched the diamonds and settled for a less extravagant look as I hit the Beverly Hills Hotel for the low-key AFI Awards where George Clooney, Jason Bateman, and Allison Janney celebrated their honored films. Be sure to check out my video coverage!

That same day, I found myself at the Jimmy Choo store opening off Rodeo Drive. From there, I clicked my heels and decided, "There's no place like home." That is, until I find the next event...

1/9/08 :: New Year, New (Award) Season...

It's the start of a new year and award season is already in full gear... Despite the Golden Globes officially being cancelled, I've been crazed covering other award show outings.

Over the weekend, I was in Palm Springs for the film festival's Cartier sponsored awards gala where I caught up with Halle Berry, Daniel Day-Lewis, John Travolta, Bruce Willis, Laura Linney... anyway, you get the point. Click here to check out my on-camera interviews from the Palm Springs Film Festival.

Next, it was off to the Critics' Choice Awards where Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, George Clooney, and Katie Holmes shocked attendees by showing up at VH1's live show. Be sure to check out my print coverage for InStyle.com.

I'm still hoping the Golden Globe parties will party-on after the un-televised conference (hey, I'm freelance!), but only time will tell. xO and Happy New Year all!

12/9/07 :: Movies Rock...

Did you catch CBS' Movies Rock special on Friday? What'd you think? I hit the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood last week to catch the live taping before it actually aired. Prior to their performances, I caught up with Fergie and Mary J. Blige. Check out my coverage online by clicking this link!

Just in time for the holidays, I helped InStyle gather celebs' favorite gifts. Click here to check out what Emile Hirsch, Eve, and Miley Cyrus had to say!

Tonight, I'm headed to the premiere of PS I Love You with Hilary Swank... More to come soon!

11/29/07 :: A Month in Review...

I'll come right out and say it... it's been a month. I admit it and I'm sorry. I've disappointed my grandmother who checks this web site regularly. For those of you who share her concern, rest assure -- I'm alive. I've just been enjoying a mix of working and vacationing.

Check out my latest video coverage from: BAFTA's Britannia Awards (with honoree Denzel Washington), Motorola's 9th Anniversary Party, and the American Music Awards (with Miley Cyrus, Mary J. Blige, and Ashley Tisdale).

Print coverage is also online from: the Margot at the Wedding screening, Maxim's Assassin's Creed party, Samsung's BlackJack II Launch with Eva Longoria, 7 For All Mankind store opening, The Savages premiere, Love in the Time of Cholera premiere, and the American Music Awards.

Huge shout outs to Radcliffe Denim who held a beautiful evening of drinks, denim, and dinner at the Chateau Marmont -- as well as to Billion Dollar Babes, who always throws a magnificent event! (More to come on both events soon.) In the meantime, I've 'rounded up my picks for this year's Best of Beauty. Take a look at the spread in the "loves" section.

Oh and on newstands now! In the December '07 issue (with Natalie Portman on the cover), check out coverage from a Stella McCartney party with Courtney Cox, Cindy Crawford, and Kate Beckinsale. (I'll try to get a copy online shortly.)

That was a mouth full... or rather a month full!

10/30/07 :: Louis Vuitton's Murakami Gala...

Finally caught up on sleep today... I needed to recover from a very busy Sunday night. I'd attended Louis Vuitton's Murakami Gala, which celebrated LV's artistic director Marc Jacobs and Japanese artist Takashi Murakami. I wasn't the only one on the scene. Far from. Other attendees included Christina Ricci, Kerry Washington, Ellen DeGeneres & Portia de Rossi, Naomi Campbell... not to mention Owen Wilson and a performance from Kanye West. I caught up with everyone for InStyle's January issue. It'll be on newsstands in a few months. In the meantime, check out the Murakami Gala online story.

Last night, I hit up Family Guy's 100th Episode Party, where the faces behind the voices hit Social Hollywood. I caught up with Seth MacFarlane, Seth Green, Mila Kunis on-camera. Click here to take a look at my video coverage!

A couple days earlier, I chatted with Denise Richards, Carmen Electra, and Jewel when they joined Dr. 90210 for the launch party for Dr. Rey's Shapewear. Check out my video interviews. On-camera we chatted about the line. Off camera we chatted about everyone's upcoming Halloween plans... Speaking of, have a safe one tomorrow!

10/23/07 :: LA Fashion Week...

"Isn't it Fashion Week somewhere in the world?" joked Cindy Crawford a few weeks back. She was correct then and she's correct now. While Los Angeles Fashion Week technically kicked off on Sunday, I'd already covered a few pre events leading up to the action. Here's the week broken down:

Thursday, the 11th: From Jeffrey Sebelia (of Project Runway)'s show to Louis Verdad (where I bumped into friend and jewelry designer Tarina Tarantino) to Eduardo Lucero's grand final at the BoxEight shows, I'd already had my fill of fashion in downtown Los Angeles -- all in one night.

Sunday, the 14th: It was off to the 2 B Free show where socialite Kim Kardashian followed Paris Hilton's lead by walking in their Spring '08 show at Boulevard3. Any words of wisdom? "I’ve gotten advice from everyone! From Kimora Lee Simmons to Tyson Beckford… All the best models in the world!"

Monday, the 15th: I hit Merecdes-Bens Fashion Week at Smashbox Studios where Elsie Katz Couture, Joseph Domingo, & Heatherette showed off their upcoming collections. Click the link for coverage!

Tuesday, the 16th: A small break from FW to celebrate a new necessity: the Sidekick LX! Check out my video interviews from T-Mobile's launch party at The Clubhouse!

Wednesday, the 17th: Back to FW at it's finest. Christian Louboutin celebrated his West Coast arrival at the S Bar, hosted by Saks Fifth Avenue -- where I interviewed Hayden Panettiere, Molly Sims, Minka Kelly, and Olivia Wilde on-camera. Click here to check out all the on-camera action!

Thursday, the 18th: I joined Eva Longoria's labor of love, The 7th Annual El Sueno De Esperanza, which brought out the likes of Jessica Alba, Nicolette Sheridan, and Mario Lopez.

Friday, the 19th: Rock & Republic hosted a dinner and after-party where Paris Hilton & Christina Milian gathered to celebrate the denim line. I tagged along and bumped into a ton of old friends.

Sunday, the 21st: The Camp Ronald McDonald Halloween Carnival got a little help from Marcia Cross & Vanessa Williams, who attended in an effort to raise money for a children with cancer sleepaway camp.

10/10/07 :: Women in Film...

The Glamour Reel Moments premiere celebrated women in film... and not just any women. Three leading ladies (Kirsten Dunst, Kate Hudson, and Rita Wilson) had the chance to get behind the camera. Last night marked their directorial debuts at the Clinique sponsored premiere. I covered all the action on-camera with interviews from Kirsten, Kate, and Rita... not to mention, the ever-so-supportive Tom Hanks who was on hand to support his multi-talented wife. Click here to check out the coverage!

In other recent news, check out my print coverage from the Mary Norton Store Opening (with Rebecca Gayheart), the Elizabeth: The Golden Age premiere (with Cate Blanchett), & Hollywood Life Style Awards (with Pete Wentz) as well as video interviews from Declare Yourself (with Kristen Bell), Lust Caution premiere (with director Ang Lee), Oceana Event (with Al Gore)& Rolling Stone Hot Party (with Emilie Hirsch). More to come...

9/24/07 :: Exclusive with Emmy Rossum...

I can't recall the last time I spoke with a celeb on the phone, but it's refreshing to have someone's undivided attention. Just the other day, I caught up with the gorgeous Emmy Rossum to discuss her new album (and rumors of her leaving acting behind). It appears exclusively on this site. Take a look. (PS. Don't get me wrong. I love covering Hollywood premieres and parties -- and Emmy loves attending them -- but there's something serene about chit chatting without a party blaring in the background.)

9/22/07 :: The Emmy's and some...

While most were out covering Emmy pre-parties, I had the pleasure of attending a daytime event at Stella McCartney's West Hollywood boutique. The afternoon brought out the likes of Kate Beckinsale, Courtney Cox, Cindy Crawford, Gabrielle Reece, and Angie Harmon. There's a brief write-up online, but full coverage will appear in InStyle's upcoming December issue.

Speaking of InStyle articles, my Chrysalis Butterfly Ball feature is in the current October issue (with Katharine Heigl on the cover). I'll try to get a copy online shortly -- otherwise, be sure to check it out!

In other news, it was a busy Emmy weekend. I covered the HBO After-Party, held at the Pacific Design Center. Check out my coverage online. (It will additionally be appearing in InStyle's November issue.) Yes... lots of print features to come. Very exciting! Also this week: Sean Penn's Into the Wild premiere, the Good Luck Chuck premiere with Jessica Alba & Dane Cook, and Teen Vogue's Young Hollywood Party.

9/12/07 :: MTV Video Music Awards...

I'm back from the MTV Video Music Awards chaos -- returning to Emmy insanity, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Over the weekend, I hit a number of pre-parties including Tao's X-Box Oasis, Pharrell's Samsung Gleam Dinner (also at Tao, where I spotted Ashlee Simpson & Pete Wentz privately dining on vegetable dumplings and Grilled Kobe Ribeye veuve), 50's Cent's Absolut Party @ Body English (one of the parties that contributed to Britney's listless performance), and Rolling Stone's 40th Anniversary party at Hard Rock. For all my VMA weekend coverage, click here!

9/7/07 :: September in Full Gear...

Today is my one day off before hitting the MTV circuit... so why am I on here writing? Why not! It's what I do. This past week, I hit a variety of events from a sit down video interview with Bindi Irwin in Vegas to video interviews at California Speedway's Running Wide Open Party with Jeff Gordon & Rihanna. The week ended with a video shoot behind-the-scenes of Tori Spelling's People Magazine photo shoot. Just last night, I caught up with Harry Potter himself -- Daniel Radcliffe -- at the premiere of his first non-Potter film, December Boys. Click here to view that video! Otherwise, this weekend, it's off to Vegas (again!) for the MTV Video Music Awards pre and post parties. Then it's back to Los Angeles for the Emmy insanity! Links to come as soon as I have a chance to breathe.

8/27/07 :: The Busiest Slow Month...

Things were rumored to slow down in LA this month -- with most celebs party hopping in the Hamptons, but such was not the case. Yesterday, I did live coverage from the Teen Choice Awards for InStyle. Click here to check that out! A day earlier, I conducted video interviews at the Balls of Fury premiere. (Be sure to watch the video!) Earlier this month, I covered the 3:10 to Yuma premiere (with Christian Bale & Russell Crowe, both are intense characters), Superbad premiere (GO SEE IT! So funny!), the Young, Fabulous, and Broke party at the LG Malibu Beach House, video interviews at the 11th Hour premiere (with Leonardo DiCaprio, click to check out), the Stolichnaya elit Auction (with Rosario Dawson), Moss Store Opening (with Molly Sims), Poloroid Beach House (with Ali Larter)... well, anyway, you get that point. More premieres, parties, and coverage from The MTV Music Awards (in Vegas!) coming soon....

7/31/07 :: Eclectic Coverage...

Still on the go... It's definitely been an eclectic group of events lately. I did video interviews at Kitson's Hairspray Jewelry Launch. The kids are really sweet and I adored the movie. Go see it! Next, I hit up the decadestwo Boutique Launch, where I was snubbed by Ali Larter, caught on camera. It's a brilliant moment! Comedy Central's Flavor Flav Roast proved to be one of the more interesting carpets. I spoke, on-camera, with Snoop Dogg, Ice-T, and other chaotic characters. A few days later, I joined actress Ana Ortiz (who's SO sweet!) at the Chateau Marmont for a dinner honoring designer Nicole Miller. Other events I've hit up: the DesignCare Benefit with Jim Carrey, Jenny McCarthy, and Eddie Murphy, the Hot Rod premiere with Isla Fisher, the Stardust premiere with Claire Danes, Michelle Pfeiffer, & Robert DeNiro, and the Inspi(Red) Event with Black Eyed Peas' Apl.de.Ap.

7/13/07 :: The ESPY Awards...

This week I found myself in jet-setting territory. After a week (vacation!) in Miami, I hopped on a plane and arrived back in Los Angeles just in time to cover the ESPY Awards. Though my body was still on east coast time, I hit the event's red carpet, press room, and two after parties... Two hours of typing later, the morning/day/evening was complete at 2 am. (You do the math -- my body thought it was 5 am!) Quite an experience. I don't know how these celebrities do it without having a "John Stamos does Australia" moment. Despite the long hours, the experience was well worth it! Take a look at my coverage of The 15th Annual ESPY Awards for InStyle.com. (I had the chance to chat with Maria Sharapova, Carmen Electra, LeBron James, etc.)

6/29/07 :: The BET Awards...

Like every award show, the party doesn't begin or end the day of the event. So naturally I found myself at events leading up to The BET Awards' 3 hour press line... On Sunday, I headed to Mr. Chow's for the American debut of Kedar Massenburg's K'orus Wine. Guests like Vivica A. Fox & Stevie Wonder sampled Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot – the first three wine varietals from the collection. I had the chance to chat with Mr. Wonder about his evening, his friendship with Kedar, and his taste for wine. It was an honor -- even if it was silly chit chat. The next night, I headed to The Pre-BET Awards' "My Black is Beautiful" Dinner Party, at Boulevard3, where CEO Debra Lee hosted the likes of LL. Cool J., Ashanti, T.I., Gabrielle Union, Tyrese, Nelly, etc. The evening was a who's who of hip hop. For video interviews from the evening, click here. Finally -- the big day -- check out my coverage from The BET Awards online. The next night, I headed to the Transformers premiere and after-party.

6/17/07 :: The 34th Annual Daytime Emmys...

It's been a crazy couple days preparing, covering, and completing the 34th Annual Daytime Emmys. A day before the big day, I headed to the show's official gift lounge where presenters had a chance to customize their own goodie bag. The following day, I returned to the lounge to catch up with Elisabeth Hasselbeck (of The View), who made the 'rounds with Joy Behar and Barbara Walters, who wore a pink velour sweat suit while swag shopping. No sign of Rosie, but no matter. Hasselbeck was super sweet! From there, I changed (in my car!) into a black Bordeaux dress and headed to the red carpet. Not quite the way of the stars, but it was definitely spontaneous! For all of my coverage, click here! (Ellen DeGeneres was one of the evening's big winners.)

6/13/07 :: The Chrysalis Butterfly Ball and more...

So much to tell. The highlight of recent days? The Chrysalis Butterfly Ball (hosted by Rebecca Gayheart-Dane and attended by Tom Cruise, Jennifer Hudson, Mary J. Blige, Ellen Pompeo, Patrick Dempsey, Kate Walsh, and... well you get the picture -- a lot of hot celebs!). Some of my coverage ran on InStyle.com, but there's more to come in the upcoming October issue. Keep an eye out. Other fun events over the last couple weeks have included: MTV Movie Awards, Big Love premiere (Ginnifer Goodwin is such a doll!), Spike TV Guy's Choice Awards, You Kill Me premiere (with Luke Wilson & Tea Leoni -- click for video interviews), The Blackberry Curve Party, the Diesel Melrose Avenue Flagship opening (click for video interviews), a visit to the My Boys set, and the 1408 premiere (with Samuel L. Jackson & John Cusack).

5/22/07 :: Fergie, Queen Latifah, and more...

When your grandmother continually requests a new site update -- you know it's time. (Shout out to Grandma Fran!) I've been crazed with a variety of assignments including: The Healthy Child Healthy World Launch Party (with Jenna Elfman), Napoleon Perdis Store Opening (click for video interviews), an on-set visit to Dresden Doll's latest music video, Jeanette Jenkins' book launch hosted by Queen Latifah, the Shrek premiere, a Bvlgari Luncheon (with Blythe Danner), the Lyric Culture Party where Fergie performed a full set, X-Box's Halo 3 Sneak Preview Party (click for video interviews), the Pirates of the Carribean premiere, Knocked Up premiere, and that leads us to today... One of my first days off. Coming soon? The MTV Movie Awards, BET Awards, and who knows what else? I'm looking forward to D) all of the above.

4/27/07 :: All Sorts of Parties...

Sorry it's been a few. I've been party and premiere hopping for the last several weeks. My favorite event? One that benefited a beautiful cause. The lovely Jane Kaczmarek opened her Mediterranean style home for the Village by Village Garden Party, which raised funds for the Global AIDS Interfaith Alliance. (Be sure to click on both links for the story and info on the cause.) I've also recently reported from the Diabless Boutique Opening, Young Hollywood Awards, Fracture Premiere, Disturbia Premiere, Kickin' It Old Skool premiere party, and more... Too many to continually keep you updated, but I'll do my best. More soon...

4/6/07 :: Entourage Premiere Party...

The Entourage Premiere was held last night and I was psyched to screen the first two episodes (which are hysterical!) with the cast. Especially since I don't have HBO anymore. I've gotta get an invite to one of their homes so I can keep up with the new season... Only six more to go! I also attended the after-party. Click here to check out my Entourage coverage for InStyle! Everyone from Hilary Duff to Mark Wahlberg were in attendance....

4/2/07 :: Kids Choice Awards & More Fashion...

I've been doing a ton of on-camera reporting for WireImage Video & AMP'D Mobile. Check out their sites for clips from the Sons of Hollywood premiere, Blades of Glory premiere (click for video), Meet the Robinsons premiere (video), NAACP Image Awards Pre-Party (video), Israel Film Festival's Opening Night (video), A Night at Sardi's (video), Mother Ghost premiere (video), and Redline premiere (video)... Otherwise, check out the following links for my recent InStyle coverage from: The Kids Choice Awards, The Ungaro Fashion Show, Imitation of Christ @ LA Fashion Week, and Jenni Kayne Dessert Party, which will also be featured in InStyle Magazine's June 2007 issue. Yay!

3/17/07 :: Entourage & Fashion Week...

Fashion week is around the corner... "Again?" teased Adrian Grenier. At the Entourage for AG Premium Denim launch, I'd attempted to ask him about his fashion week experiences, but he maintained, "They don’t give me enough time to prepare Fashion Week answers because every other week is Fashion Week." I don't disagree... I'm just glad to be working. Here's a week in my life link by link... Eva Longoria's Bebe Sport Party, Entourage for AG Denim (click for video), and Mark Wahlberg's Shooter Premiere.

3/2/07 :: Wild Hog Interviews...

This week, I covered the Wild Hog premiere, but weeks ago I covered the film's junket. Take a look at my video interviews with John Travolta, Martin Lawrence, Tim Allen, William H Macy, Marisa Tomei, and Ray Liotta. (Try saying that five times fast. Quite an award winning cast, eh?) The day of the junket, Martin Lawrence told me I was funny... And I quote, "This girl's funny!" Made my day!

2/26/07 :: The Oscars & Independent Spirit Awards...

I'm tired... so tired, but I'm not complaining! Work is good. If you can call this work, right?! Saturday, I spent the day (and night!) at the Independent Spirit Awards where I chatted with everyone from Daniel Craig, Zach Braff, and Matt Dillon to Angelica Houston, Minnie Driver, and Felicity Huffman. Check out all of my coverage on InStyle.com!

Last night, I hit up the yin to the Oscar's yang -- Lil Kim's Billboard Viewing & After Party, which benefited Children Uniting Nations. The crowd featured an interesting mix, which included Jane Seymour, DMX, and JC Chasez. Definitely one of the more relaxed post Oscar parties.

Leading up to the big night, I covered Jamie Foxx's Giant Magazine Nomination Celebration in honor of Jennifer Hudson (click for video). All in attendance agreed, Hudson was already a winner whether she went home with the statue or not... But now the world can confirm... she is indeed an Oscar winner! An absolute doll, Hudson proved to be a great interview. She seemed so appreciative of everything happening to her... and so real. That's not to say she wasn't a pro posing for the photogs. She has it down pat... In between interviews, she kept fixing her cleavage... And she didn't hide it. It's hard to when you have that many members of the media hovering over you. If only, I could share the video footage with you. It's only available through WireImage Video.

From there, it was off to Macy Gray's Vanity Fair Party where she performed her new hit Finally Made Me Happy as well as some of her classics. Bobby Brown, Kate Walsh, and will.i.am were on hand to bask her performance. (Leonardo DiCaprio, Djimon Honsou, and Kevin Connelly arrived at Boulevard3 shortly after her performance, but they stayed a mere 30 minutes before dipping.)

2/12/07 :: The Grammy's..

From one award show to the next... this weekend, it's Grammy time! On the 8th, I hit up The Black Eyed Peas' 3rd Annual Peapod Foundation Benefit at the Avalon in Hollywood.com. Check out my Peas coverage on InStyle.com!

The next night, I headed to Justin Timberlake's Verizon Wireless Concert. When arrivals started at 10pm, the party was already to capacity! They wouldn't even let Benjamin McKenzie in. Paris Hilton managed to get the VIP treatment. She breezed right in by McKenzie, who finally left after waiting outside for forty-five minutes. Want more? Check out my InStyle coverage from the evening!

Saturday, I took a break from music to focus on film. I sat down with John Travolta, Martin Lawrence, Tim Allen, William H Macy, Marisa Tomei, and Ray Liotta in promotion of Wild Hogs. Those video interviews will be up shortly. Last night was finally a chance to unwind! I headed to a post Grammy party courtesy of the Warner Music Group where I partied it up with Scarlett Johansson, Petra Nemcova & James Blunt, and Al Gore!

1/30/07 :: Santa Barbara Film Festival...

I can't seem to get enough of Sienna Miller! Last Thursday, I headed to her Factory Girl premiere. Who knew the girl had acting chops?! She really shined in this entertaining, though tragic, biopic. My InStyle.com coverage already went live. Because I was doing double duty, I have another article, from the event, to soon follow. The next day, I attended the Sacha Baron Cohen panel discussion. Stay tuned for that article. Saturday evening took the cake! The festival honored Will Smith with their "Modern Master" Award. He attended with wife Jada and special guest Tom Cruise! Check out my coverage on InStyle.com. Take a look!

1/18/07 :: The Golden Globes...

After a plethora of pre-parties (including the Silver Spoon Buffet where I "baby talked" with Tori Spelling and hubby Dean McDermott), the big day finally arrived: The Golden Globes. I was on the scene (ALL DAY!) waiting for The Weinstein Company after-party to begin. It was a freezing night, but that didn't stop the party from heating up. Attendees included Sienna Miller, Jamie Foxx, and Mischa Barton. I conducted video interviews and contributed to an article on the evening. Check it all out!

1/10/07 :: People's Choice Awards...

It proved to be a late night at (and after!) the People's Choice Awards. Who had time for the after-party? I was too busy filing my report for InStyle.com. If you want details on the evening, check out my coverage online: http://www.instyle.com/instyle/parties/party/0,27415,1575829,00.html

1/8/07 :: New Year, New Video...

After celebrating the start of a new year in Hawaii, it's back to work! This tan better last for (at least!) a couple weeks. I returned to find a new video up from The Dead Girl premiere, featuring Kerry Washington, Marcia Gay Harden, Giovanni Ribisi, and Brittany Murphy. I must say -- Murphy is one of my favorite people! At the conclusion of our interview, I thanked and congratulated her. She immediately exclaimed, "No! Thank YOU and happy New Year and happy holidays... to you and your family." She has *the best* energy. I hope to cross paths with her again. What a delight. In the meantime, check out my video coverage of The Dead Girl premiere and stay tuned for more entertainment coverage in this new year....

12/23/06 :: Links Gone Live...

Just in time for the holidays, check out four new videos (and a print piece!) ready for your review. Take a look:

- Celebrate the holidays with my coverage of the Rodeo Drive Holiday Lighting Ceremony, featuring interviews with Alyssa Milano and Chris Klein.

- Watch my video coverage of the Tenacious D premiere, which includes interviews with Jack Black, Kyle Gass, and Sarah Silverman.

-Enjoy inside access at the Superman Returns DVD & Video Game Launch Party, where I interviewed Brandon Routh.

-Just in time for the holiday's, check out red carpet coverage from The Nativity Story premiere.

-I also had the chance to reconnect with Nancy Juvonen, the producer behind several box office hits (50 First Dates, Fever Pitch--to name a few). A couple years back, I'd interviewed her for Lindzi.com. This time, we chatted for a SavvyMiss feature. Check it out!

11/27/06 :: Home of the Brave...

I'm psyched to say that I sat down one-on-one with Samuel L. Jackson, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, Jessica Biel, newcomer Brian Presley (a star in the making!), and director Irwin Winkler for the Home of the Brave junket. I'll let you know when those video interviews go live. (Go see the film -- it's an interesting perspective on the Iraq war. It focuses on the soldiers and their experiences upon returning home.) I'm also headed to the premiere on Tuesday!

11/22/06 :: The Last Month...

Sorry it's been a month since I've updated. It's not that I didn't have much to write. It's that I've had too much and didn't know where to begin. I've covered the following events (bear with me) over the last 29 days:

944's Don't Tell My Booker party, the Stone Rose Lounge, LA Product Showcase with Rachel Zoe, Flicka Premiere (with Tim McGraw), Jamie Pressly's Fashion Show, an on-set visit with Seth Rogen's Super Bad film, Reichen Lehmkuhl's Book Party at the Abbey, Intuition's "Get With it Party" (attendees included Portia de Rossi, Marley Shelton), Patricia Arquette's Medium premiere party, Baywatch DVD Release Party with Pam Anderson, Bobby premiere, Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut screening, P.S. Arts Express Yourself with Chris Klein, The Dead Girl premiere with Brittany Murphy, TMZ's Anniversary party, a photo shoot with the girls of Deal or No Deal, the Tenacious D premiere, karaoke night with the cast of How I Met Your Mother, and The Invisible Children's Red Is for Emmy party (hosted by Ben McKenzie)...

Do you forgive me? Tonight, I'm off to a Superman Returns DVD Release party. Then, a photo shoot with the super sweet Kaylee Defer. Videos, interviews, and articles to soon follow. In the meantime, check out my red carpet coverage of the Medium Premiere Party with Patricia Arquette!

10/17/06 :: Fashion Week Chaos...

I finally have a second to breathe... so don't ask why I'm still sitting in front of a computer. I've been doing coverage for Fashion Week (including an event with stylist Rachel Zoe, a couple of 944 parties, shows at Smashbox, and a show with Jamie Pressly in the works). More on everything later. For now, check out my article from the Macy's Passport featuring Sharon Stone, Brooke Shields, and Elizabeth Taylor. Here's a link to check it out!

9/6/06 :: Tarina Tarantino...

If you've been with me from the beginning, then you know I'm a huge Tarina Tarantino fan. (No--no relation to director Quentin Tarantino; though, sources tell me he purchases her pieces to woo women. What can I say? The man's got taste!) Tarina's jewelry has been an obsession of mine since my teen years. A friendship developed somewhere along the way. A few weeks back, Tarina invited me to attend her appearance at UCLA's "How Does She Do It?" series. I was inspired to dedicate the new "loves" section to her. Be sure to check it out!

8/23/06 :: A Scanner Darkly...

I'm bringing busy back.... (Ahh, sorry-- couldn't help the Justin Timberlake reference. It's everywhere.) But in all seriousness, I know it's been a few since I've kept you in the loop. My premiere and junket coverage of A Scanner Darkly (with Keanu Reeves!) are all over AMP'D Mobile phones. Pick one up to check it out. Otherwise, I'll try to get links up shortly. What else have I been up to? Besides AMP'D's kickin' X-Games party at Hollywood's Element:: the Mini's First Time junket with Nikki Reed, the Pirates of the Caribbean premiere, a trip to NYC, then San Francisco, and a little relaxin' in between. Now that summer's over, things are only going to get busier. Stay tuned.

6/29/06 :: Superman Returns...

Busy week of premieres: I recently inked a VJ deal with AMP'D Mobile Entertainment. I covered the Superman Returns premiere as my first event with them and chatted with all the films stars including Kevin Spacey, Brandon Routh, Kate Bosworth, Parker Posey, and James Marsden. Click here for the link to those video interviews.

6/19/06 :: Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift...

Check out my video coverage of the Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift Junket. I had the opportunity to jump in the car with one of the film's stunt drivers and, let me tell you, it's the ride of your life. I also attended the film's premiere. Those video interviews are also online. What now? I just returned from CineVegas, a nine day film festival hosted by Dennis Hopper. Catch the article online...

6/12/06 :: MTV Movie Awards...

When I was asked to cover the MTV Movie Awards, I figured it'd be another day in the life. I had no idea I'd suddenly find myself in the middle of an actual film set. After finding my spot on the press line, I looked to my immediate right and realized the "recognizable reporter from E!" was none-other-than actress Katherine Heigl (of Grey's Anatomy) and -- more over -- she was pregnant?! Surely, there had to be an explanation....

Turns out director Judd Apatow was shooting "Knocked Up," his follow-up to the 40-Year-Virgin. Because Heigl's character plays a red carpet reporter, they decided to shoot impromptu interviews at the MTV Movie Awards.

Click here to check out my own video coverage of the MTV Movie Awards featuring interviews with Owen Wilson, Brett Ratner, Katherine Heigl, Nick Carter, and Robert Rodriquez as well as exclusive b-roll from the upcoming film "Knocked Up..."

Also: Ever wondered what it's like to live like a movie star? I checked out Kari Feinstein's Style Lounge, a pre-MTV Movie Awards retreat where the stars were treated to goodies, manicures, and massages. Check out the "loves" section to hear more!

5/23/06 :: High School Musical...

The Disney Channel's High School Musical has become a phenomenon in the teen world. It's doing so well that Disney launched the DVD red carpet style. Naturally I attended to chat it up with the film's stars including Zac Efron, Vanessa Anne Hudgens, and Ashley Tisdale as well as other attendees including American Idol's Ace Young and Summerland's Lori Laughlin. Click here to check out my on-camera coverage!

5/15/06 :: Lindsay Lohan...

It's been a Lindsay Lohan filled week! I covered both her Just My Luck junket and premiere. My Teen People piece (which consists of both an article and video interviews) is available online. (Click the link to view it.)

Also, available online: my video interviews from the Just My Luck premiere featuring Lindsay and her co-stars Chris Pine, Samaire Armstrong, and Bree Turner! (Click the link to check it out!)

I have to share... Despite what tabloids say, I found Ms. Lohan to be an absolute doll. Upon introducing myself (as a fellow Lindzi) to Lindsay, she asked how I spelled my name. When I told her about the "Zi" spelling, she remarked, "Really? I've been thinking of changing my name. My mom gave me permission." From there, we bantered about my Isabella Fiore "Summer Love" bag (which she loved!), the Devendra Banhart q&a she compiled for Interview Magazine (which I told her I loved!)... and then our actual interview began!

Before parting ways, I teased, "If I see you spelling your name with a Zi, I'll know where it came from." She laughed and continued to chat more about Devendra. She even recommended a few of his songs to me. Although the conversation wasn't ready for a natural conclusion, my time was clearly up as they hearded the next journalist into the room. Ah, well! Till next time, check it all out!

4/27/06 :: American Dreamz...

So after my friend's first ever film audition, he landed his first ever film. And this film, now known to audiences as American Dreamz, just hit theatres nationwide. My friend is Sam Golzari and I'm proud to say he's pictured on the film's poster. I followed Sam as he prepared for the American Dreamz premiere. Click here to check out the video online!

4/16/06 :: Maxim Birthday Celebration...

A few weeks back, I traveled to Vegas for Maxim's 100th Birthday Celebration where the likes of Nicky Hilton, Kelly Hu (left), Cuba Gooding Jr., and Jamie Lynn Sigler partied it up at the Wynn Las Vegas. I caught up with nearly everyone there. Click here to check out my article!

4/13/06 :: Kids Choice Awards...

If you tuned in for the Kids Choice Awards, tune in for my orange carpet coverage, which debuted today. Click here to check it out! I interviewed everyone from Robin Williams (the highlight!) to Teddy Geiger, Kenny G, Sasha Cohen, and Jon Lovitz.

4/4/06 :: I'm on MSNBC...

I attended Fergie's Birthday Party at Hollywood's Citizen Smith  the other day... but who knew I'd get caught in a photo op for MSNBC? It ran on their web site. Gotta give credit to photographer Matthew Simmons, naturally...

3/30/06 :: Brick Video Interviews...

Brick is an indie film that's about to create a huge buzz. And if it doesn't... mainstream America is missing out. I already plugged my Emilie de Ravin interview. Two more are now available: Check out my interviews with the film's male lead Joseph Gordon-Levitt and director Rian Johnson!

3/28/06 :: On-air with Emilie de Ravin...

Emilie de Ravin is anything but Lost these days. In addition to her hit series, she has two films (The Hills Have Eyes, Brick) in theaters. I sat down with Ms. Emilie de Ravin for an on-camera interview in promotion of Brick. (I highly recommend it! The dialogue is really sharp!) Check out the interview!!

3/15/06 :: New Articles...

The following features recently hit newsstands: * My feature in Teen People on Lost's Malcolm David Kelley, one of Teen People's 20 Teens Who Will Change the World. *My cover story for CB Teen: Amanda Bynes. *My feature on Hollywood.com: Anthony Hopkins. Check them out!

3/13/06 :: Awards Season Complete...

Award season is over and out. My coverage ran all of the place -- including on Hollywood.com and Teen People. As always, if links are available, I'll be sure to post coverage. In the meantime, check out photos from pre-primping at the Fusion Studio D Oscars Suite under the "loves" section. In the meantime, I'm laying low... that is if you don't include the Rolling Stones concert I hit up in FL! (Mick Jagger is insane! So amazing!)

3/2/06 :: Oscar Chaos...

I'm already pacing myself. Between video interviews at the Brick press junket and NAACP Award coverage, I managed to line up the dress (Nicole Miller), shoes (sparkling silver heels!) and gigs for the big night! Stay tuned for details from Queen Latifah's Pre-Oscar Party with Vibe Magazine and the Celebration of Artistic Freedom Viewing and Post-Oscar party, honoring Mira Sorvino and the Oscar nominated film Crash (a personal favorite). First stop, the Fusion Studio D Oscars Suite and the Ask the Dust premiere this evening. Stay tuned...

2/9/06 :: Grammy Night...

Forget about The Grammy's... the real fun started at the Sony/BMG after-party. I chatted it up with stars like John Legend, Rose McGowan, and Natasha Bedingfield. My post-Grammy coverage can be found on Teen People's site. Click here to check it out!

1/19/06 :: The Golden Globes...

How'd I kick off this week? With a trip to the Golden Globes! Check out my video interviews! Dressed in a simple black BCBG dress, I got the thumbs up from Joan & Melissa Rivers at the HBO After Party. Earlier in the evening, I covered the Golden Globe press room...I interviewed everyone from nominee Cynthia Nixon (she looked stunning!), winner S. Epatha Merkerson (she let me hold her Globe!), and jokester Kevin Dillon (who threatened to throw me in the pool!)... Next stop? The Sundance Film Festival. Also, get the behind-the-scenes scoop on the various Golden Globe Luxury Lounges.

1/13/06 :: The People's Choice Awards...

My feature on the People's Choice Awards is now up! Click here to check it out! And with Golden Globe madness approaching, I've been keeping busy at the Silver Spoon beauty buffet. I'll have the inside scoop (and pictures!) for you shortly. Also coming soon, inside HBO's Golden Globe after party...

1/12/06 :: Coming Soon...

It's been a busy week! Over the last couple days, I've interviewed James Franco (Tristan & Isolde), Anthony Hopkins (The Fastest Indian Ever), Bryce Dallas Howard (Manderlay), and tons of random stars in between at the People's Choice Awards. Features from d) all of the above are on their way. In the meantime, check out details from the VW Hollywood Celebration.

1/4/06 :: Grandma's Boy Video Interviews

If you love Adam Sandler, you'll likely be into Grandma's Boy, the latest release from his production company HappyMadison. The film follows the typical Sandler formula -- only a lot cruder. It's a combination of sex, drugs, video games, and grandmas. Intrigued?

Check out my video interviews with the cast -- including Allen Covert, Linda Cardellini, Shirley Jones, Shirley Knight, and Doris Roberts. The first time director, Nicholaus Goossen, wasn't present for the press day, which is unfortunate since he's hot. (And my sources tell me he's dating the film's female lead Linda Cardellini. I wonder which came first... the chicken or the egg? Hmmm...) Anyway, enjoy the interviews until the next feature...

12/28/05 :: Interviews from The New World

Colin Farrell's The New World hit theatres on December 25th. While the film's star rested in rehab, the remaining cast members kept busy promoting the film. Before the holidays, I sat down with Christian Bale, Q'Orianka Kilcher, and Wes Studi, at The Four Seasons Hotel, in Beverly Hills, CA. Click each link for the star's personal scoops.

12/8/05 :: Premiere Details...

This week, I attended premieres for Charlize Theron's Aeon Flux and Sarah Jessica Parker's The Family Stone.

Aeon Flux details: Ms. Theron looked stunning, as always! She wasn't rocking the dark hair (like her character in the film) and appeared to be Stuart Townsend-less. Through out the press line, paparazzi screamed for her attention -- prompting her to say, "Go home," in a half joking tone.

Family Stone details: Sarah Jessica Parker looked sophisticated in a Calvin Klein dress. Her hair was straight and darker than usual. She did some of the press line, but, as she reached the print media, she asked her publicist, "Don't we have to go in soon?" which is typically code for "I've had enough! Get me out of here!"

As for details on the films, go see for yourself. I'm only willing to divulge red carpet glitz. Aeon Flux is in theatres now. The Family Stone hits theatres on December 16th.

11/28/05 :: Shopping with The Olsens...

Check out my interviews with the cast of In The Mix including: Usher, Emmanuelle Chriqui and Chazz Palminteri on Hollywood.com.

...As well as my piece on shopping with Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen (and other Hollywood glam girls including: Eva Mendes, Jessica Biel, Mandy Moore, and Demi Moore!)

...And, in high schools nationwide, my CB Teen cover story on Supernatural's Jared Padalecki, available online here. Also featured in the issue: my article on actress Brenda Song. Take a look and more coming soon!

11/17/05 :: Ray-J, Sienna, and Industry...

It's been a few and here's why:  the Vibe Awards with Ciara, Pharrell, and Mariah Carey, Sienna Miller's Casanova premiere (which Jude Law showed up to!), an environmental benefit hosted by Sarah Michelle Gellar, an on-set visit with Ray-J at UPN's One on One,
