12/28/05 :: Interviews from The New World

Colin Farrell's The New World hit theatres on December 25th. While the film's star rested in rehab, the remaining cast members kept busy promoting the film. Before the holidays, I sat down with Christian Bale, Q'Orianka Kilcher, and Wes Studi, at The Four Seasons Hotel, in Beverly Hills, CA. Click each link for the star's personal scoops.

12/8/05 :: Premiere Details...

This week, I attended premieres for Charlize Theron's Aeon Flux and Sarah Jessica Parker's The Family Stone.

Aeon Flux details: Ms. Theron looked stunning, as always! She wasn't rocking the dark hair (like her character in the film) and appeared to be Stuart Townsend-less. Through out the press line, paparazzi screamed for her attention -- prompting her to say, "Go home," in a half joking tone.

Family Stone details: Sarah Jessica Parker looked sophisticated in a Calvin Klein dress. Her hair was straight and darker than usual. She did some of the press line, but, as she reached the print media, she asked her publicist, "Don't we have to go in soon?" which is typically code for "I've had enough! Get me out of here!"

As for details on the films, go see for yourself. I'm only willing to divulge red carpet glitz. Aeon Flux is in theatres now. The Family Stone hits theatres on December 16th.

11/28/05 :: Shopping with The Olsens...

Check out my interviews with the cast of In The Mix including: Usher, Emmanuelle Chriqui and Chazz Palminteri on Hollywood.com.

...As well as my piece on shopping with Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen (and other Hollywood glam girls including: Eva Mendes, Jessica Biel, Mandy Moore, and Demi Moore!)

...And, in high schools nationwide, my CB Teen cover story on Supernatural's Jared Padalecki, available online here. Also featured in the issue: my article on actress Brenda Song. Take a look and more coming soon!

11/17/05 :: Ray-J, Sienna, and Industry...

It's been a few and here's why:  the Vibe Awards with Ciara, Pharrell, and Mariah Carey, Sienna Miller's Casanova premiere (which Jude Law showed up to!), an environmental benefit hosted by Sarah Michelle Gellar, an on-set visit with Ray-J at UPN's One on One, Usher's press junket for In The Mix, the Just Friends premiere with Chris Klein, Ryan Reynolds, Amy Smart, Anna Faris... and it keeps going. So I apologize for not writing the details, but I've been writing for days. When those articles are up and running -- I'll let you know for sure. Also, HUGE shout out to Industry Clothing who hooked up me with new duds to wear to events. I promise to post pix of their stuff online. In the meantime, check out their site -- their line is amazing!

11/4/05 :: Chicken Little Interviews...

My video interviews with Zach Braff and Garry Marshall (two voices behind Chicken Little) are now online. Zach was hysterical. Literally. He must've been exhausted from doing interviews all day because, the second I entered that room, he had it out for me. All harmless and in good fun of course. (He teased me, "Are you even legal to do this interview?") That didn't make the final edit, but... Take a look!

10/26/05 :: My CosmoGIRL! Feature...

It's finally out!! Back in February, I'd mentioned completing one of my largest interviews, to date, but refused to say who. Well, wait no longer. I'm psyched to share. I sat down with famed television/film producer Jerry Bruckheimer for a two-page feature. It's on newsstands in the October issue of CosmoGIRL. There's even a photo of us together. SO exciting. Now, you can check it out online within on tv / in press. Also, check out my interviews with Supernatural stars Jared Padalecki & Jensen Ackles only available through the site. AND... My CB Teen feature on Related's Laura Breckenridge is available online within published features. Enjoy!

10/17/05 :: The insanity continues...

My Doom article featuring The Rock and Rosamund Pike debuted. Click here to check it out. Otherwise, busy weekend... I checked out the 2 B Free fashion show on Saturday where Paris Hilton waltzed down the runway -- posing with children, animals, and purses. Never know what will make the best accessory until you try them all out, right? Coming up, The Kids in America premiere and Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang premiere. Stay tuned...

10/14/05 :: A Week of Insanity...

This past week, I covered the North Country premiere with Charlize Theron for InStyle. Before that, the Doom press junket with The Rock for Hollywood.com. This weekend: The Chicken Little junket. Needless to say, there will be a ton of new material for you guys to check out. I'll keep you posted. And with Fashion Week approaching, you can bet next week will be beyond insane. Forgive me, in advance, if it takes me a few days to update you. More soon...

10/6/05 :: Fast & Furious: My Cameo...

Get ready for it: Fast & Furious 3. I was cast as a cheerleader. No lines, but 9 of us had a lot of fun cheering together. It was an awesome experience. Observing a film set is... indescribable. (Though, when I recoup from lack of sleep over the last three shooting days, I promise to try!) The girls I worked with were super sweet. We shared scenes with the film's new lead, Lucas Black. (Paul Walker isn't attached to FF3, but the new lead is equally hot.) Bow Wow is also part of the cast -- though I didn't catch him on-set.

9/26/05 :: Teen Vogue, Flightplan, and Relief Spark...

Last week consisted of: Emmy insanity, the Flightplan film premiere, Teen Vogue's Young Hollywood party, and the Into the Blue film premiere. Needless to say, I'm exhausted. But I'm not complaining. I love it. I'm at events until at least midnight. I write until 4 am. Sleep until noon and then run to meetings all day. This is a life I could get used to. Then...

While most people get to sleep in on Saturday morning, I woke up bright and early to cover Patricia Arquette's involvement with Relief Spark, an organization benefiting victims of Hurricane Katrina. Arquette was joined by Matthew McConaughey, Jake Webber, Barbara K, Jerry O'Connell, and Rebecca Romijn. Nice to see a celeb turnout for a good cause.

Everyone gathered to pack up and ship off food, diapers, and rebuilding tools to the victims. Want to do your part? Not in the city of Los Angeles? Donations can be made, by check, to the organization via snail mail: RELIEF SPARK, c/o Sidney Ray, 7635 Airport Business Parkway, Van Nuys, CA 91406

9/20/05 :: The Emmy's...

Frankly, I'm too tired to get creative with the details. (I've been on assignment every day!) ...BUT you can check all my Emmy coverage on Hollywood.com. I did video interviews at the Entertainment Weekly pre-party and post interviews at the Entertainment Tonight/People Magazine party. I caught up with everyone from Medium winner Patricia Arquette to comedian Kathy Griffin. Check out the article...

9/9/05 :: Samuel L. Jackson & Eugene Levy...

I sat down with Samuel L. Jackson and Eugene Levy in promotion of their new film: The Man. Now, I never get star struck, but I will admit. I was "awe struck" over Mr. Jackson. Seriously. What is awe struck? It's a term I've coined to describe stars who I admire for their tenacity in this industry. He's been called "the hardest working actor in Hollywood," and I'd grant him the title: "most down-to-earth." He was sooo cool. Be sure to check out my piece on both actors.

9/8/05 :: Catching up with Reunion...

New programming is already underway. Aside from everyone's token favorites (The OC, One Tree Hill), the networks have a few new ones that may (or may not) become favorites. I've been looking forward to Reunion. Fortunately, the wait is over as the show debuts tonight on Fox. I caught up with a couple of the show's stars recently: Dave Annable and Alexa Davalos. Check out their interviews and then catch the show tonight!

9/1/05 :: Behind the MTV Awards...

Sorry it's been a few. I've been in Miami. Still recovering from the MTV Video Music Award pre and post parties. Never made it to the awards show. Go figure. But I did live it up all over town with the likes of Jamie Foxx, Collin Farrell, Usher, and Jessica Simpson. I had a Kayne West sighting at director Dave Meyers' bash, but, fortunately, missed Kanye's official party, which made headlines for the Suge Knight shooting. Check out my behind-the-scenes wrap-up and celeb soundbyte pieces from the events.
